Have you been to the Silk Air web site, last I saw they had flights to Phuket from Singapore O/W S$60 with 45 days advance booking. Not too hard to think ahead.

Have checked it out and it does'nt look that good - The ticket is for one way only so I would still have to pay normal rates to get back...

So I checked with my favourite travel agents:

1) Air Andaman are goin to operate flights between Singapore and Phuket starting the 1st of June 2004. The price for these tickets is S$210.00 plus S$30.00 for airport tax.
2) Thai air is the next best but they only fly on odd days and come in at S$265.00 including airport tax...
3) Silkair without the promotion is S$430.00 including tax.

On the budget side:
1) Air Asia comes in at S$240.00 inclduign all but you have to fly Singapore- Bankok, Bankok-Phuket and then back again...
2) Value Air only goes Singapore and Bankok again but very cheap rates at aroun S$180.00 inclsuive.

So unless I just hit Bankok it looks like I will give Air Andaman a go...

Anyone got any thoughts or pet hates for them???

Also who will be there around the weekend starting the 18th of June 2004???

because i had to cut this trip short i hope to maybe squeeze in 10 days in august at the start then 2 weeks xmas.
