Older guy looking for some ideas.
OK, I will never be 50 again and have a few grey hairs, a lot in fact! I was in Phuket about a couple of years ago and loved the place and will get back again next month. I loved the Tiger and some of the other places.
What changes have occured in the last two years? What is the hot bar, disco and nightspot? Is the freelance scene just as good? Any older guys replies are very welcome if they have a different slant on the place. Thanks in advance

THINGS WILL BE THE SAME WAY AS YOU LEFT........
NOTHING HAS REALLY CHANGED..........BARS AND CLUBS HAVE CHANGED NAMES BUT STILL REMAIN THE SAME..... A FEW NEW HOTELS HAVE BEEN BUILT........AND A NEW SHOPPING MALL.... FLs ARE STILL PLENTY..BUT BEWARE THE PLACE HAS BECOME INFESTED WITH KATOEYS.......IJ

If its a holiday by the beach and partying with some company at night I'd say Phuket is the place....but if you are more into nightlife and picking up gals is the main concern the Patts is the place for you young man....55555

Thanks all. I do not expect miracles however I had so much fun last time and as I am a night owl the place suited me. I will be going to Patts for a couple of weeks as well but hey I enjoyed the Patong experience.

Caerphilly....Pinot is right...Age doesn't have to be an issue..unless you make it one. Forget your age and enjoy yourself. The last time I was at the MTB with a 21 yr old lady (who I have been seeing for over a year) Pinot told me I was old enough to know better....I told him I was old enough to know ....that I didn't have to know better. Just be yourself...be nice to the TG and you'll be pleasantly surpised....enjoy!
