I don't like to use the search engine, BECAUSE I;d like to know the current price honey....

I don't like to answer questions asked many times asked and answerred before.
So if you don't like to use the search engine I suppose you will have to ask the freelancer if you arrive in Thailand.
If you have questions not asked before, I will be glad to help.
Regards,
Capt.

it'd be far better to use the search engine as u can find all relevant posts and somemore than jus asking a direct question and getting direct answers... furthermore... some pple here will "screw" with u... all in the name of fun of coz...

cheers

I think the OP has a point - it is extremely annoying to see the "search sheep" out on patrol all the time. What's the point in telling someone to search? It's usually easier just to tell them the answer, which then stimulates debate from other parties. The speed of change here is breathtaking at times and I see no reason at all why people can't ask for current info.

Besides, the search function is an utter waste of space - some people ought to use it themselves to see why the same questions keep reappearing.

If the answer to a question is repeated monthly, then there won't be much change. Besides, those answerring their knowledge will also be at least one month old.

If people used the search function or google, they will find answers pretty fast. Why should anyone help just because the OP is to lazy?
Where is the webpage for MTB,Where is a link to Summer Breeze. Whats the weather in Juli.........................
All things easy to find by google.. And for price of LT/ST there are numerous posts, some pretty new, that you can search for.

So stop whining and stop expect people to do the job for you....

You miss the point Dame and havn't been on here long enough to make this kind of statement.

Who are you suggesting should answer the same questions every couple of days? you going to do it? How about the questions that are already placed in the stickies but the new member cannot be bothered with reading? how about they contribute something to a forum before just coming on here and expecting to take information for free and moan if its not given? and what do you think the search facility is for?

If we answer the same question to a new member do you think it will stop at just one question? do you consider the quality of the general questions that are asked over and over again? Whats the weather like, how much LT/ST if they just read the front part of this forum the answers are there.

Maybe when you have been here longer, answered several hundred times the same questions you may think it wiser to point out nicely to new members that there is a search function exactly for this reason and perhaps that coming on and starting a thread like the OP and agressivly moaning and saying you cannot be bothered to use the search facility is not a way to endear yourself to existing members.

Well dame...I see by your posts, that you have been to Patong recently. Instead of complaining (like a lot of your other posts...), why don't YOU give the OP the "latest" scoop!

Oh get lost. Have you actually tried putting MTB, LT, ST in the search engine?

Give it a go sunshine and then come back with a juicy piece of humble pie.

Good god, what drivel. Never have I read such a lot that meant so little. Why didn't you just write "we don't like outsiders here. We like our little clique of seedy old men just as it is, thank you very much" and be done with it?

And, for your info, I've been around a long time in various guises and know enough to see this site attracts very few new posters, mainly because the search sheep give people such an unnecessary bleating they decide to move on. I bet YOU never asked any questions when you first joined, did you?

It's a MESSAGEBOARD called PHUKET INFO. Do you actually understand why people are enticed here to ask questions?

In terms of actually providing people with useful and current information on Phuket, this site is very poor. It is very good at nudge-nudge, wink-wink, but there are those of us that require a little more from life.

Obviously you ARE a newbie.

And just a obviously, you have not looked at any of the information (sticky's), in the newbie section! It's funny, because the very elementary questions that the OP (and you) seem to be having difficulty with, are clearly defined within!

Some of the mod's (and recently a regular BM) went to some lengths to provide this information to the newbies. Yet, you and the OP seem to be too fvcking lazy and/or stupid, to read what's out there!

Then, you've got the gall, to come on here and start calling names...(search sheep)

What a git! Quintessential "ME GENERATION", piece of rubbish!

Pablo
