Censorship
Why was the "search" thread closed? I stated my opinion, got a load of paranoid and patronising abuse, so defended myself.
Is debate not allowed on here, Mein hosts? |

Ah, I now see my posts from the other thread, where I equally had to defend another perfectly valid opinion, have been deleted.
What form of dissent is permitted on this site? Are there any happy pills I can take so i see the world out of everyone else's eyes? Just so i know for future reference, should I parrot out "pattaya good, patong better" until it's firmly embedded? Is there some sort of goose-stepping procedure i can practice until I've got the drill? How about growing a little 'tashe? I have NEVER been on a site as touchy as this. It should be for girls. Heaven forbid anyone have a bit of a laugh around here. Might make the site actually worth reading once in a while. |

At the risk of being shot down in flames I've seen a few of Dame's posts and they seem ok to me, certainly not a troll, and he has a point that negative opinions of Phuket aren't really tolerated here no matter how they are put.
I think maybe one day I'll spend a lot of time in Patong area but I also see its faults and it's only right that someone may mention them here in case there is a "work around" that present locals will know.

Aside from the obvious contradiction in your statement, that actually validates the OP's question, I would have thought it is MUCH easier to find info on golf than it is on ST/LT, not least because the search function does not recognise words with a low number of characters. There is a surprising amount of info that the search engine just cannot pick up. It's also very confusing for someone completely new to this to pick up what LT, ST, BM, BG etc etc actually means, and to learn to differentiate one from the other. It is like learning a new language. |
