As a western woman who has travelled to Patong many times ....if you are lucky enough to meet a guy who hasn't already made the assumptions mentioned here already ( white trash / b****/ arrogant/ partner in the hotel etc ) simply because you're not Thai , then you can have great time in Patong . Most of the time it's simply not worth the effort!!!
