Sept Festivals

Will there be any festivals during the mid of Sept? I want to enjoy the night life yet take in the culture. Doing the Muay Thai and Phi Phi island thing but what else would you suggest.

Events

Hi Mauldid

I'm pretty new to the board and this Sept will be my first trip to LOS...

I haven't been able to find any festivals in Phuket happening in Sept, guessing it's possibly cos it's meant to be the wettest month of the year.

But if your going to be round on Sept 26 you may want to check out Koh Phangan Full moon party on Koh Phangan - A Thailand dj musical moonparty including techno and rave on Hadrin beach

However it's more night life then culture...

Beer fest at MTB!!! I'll be there!!

You can bet that each day in Patong there will be the biggest muay thai fight each day. "Big Fight tonight"

I have not heard of any festivals in September.

  • A spell checker would not have caught this one.
  • The forum does include a spell checker. You will need to download ieSpell the first time you use it.
  • If you don't want to download ieSpell, toolbars such as Google Toolbar includes an excellent one.

Only one problem with Google toolbar spellchecker. It spells everything the US way

Some of the US spellings are just wrong (from an English guys point of view)

I think that is only partly correct. As far as I have seen it accepts both "languages" on par.
I tried entering: color colour favor favour
All four words were spelled correctly (as per Google).

When I spell check: colur favur
The suggestions are given both in English and American.

There may be other variations that may prove me wrong, but obviously living in the US I could not be bothered to test.
