if you eat cheap (and you can do this well)....drink in beer bars....BF a gal from the BB then tip her a reasonable amount it is possible to do this consistently for 5Kbht and under......
BUT....if you like to drink long and hard, party, head off to gogos + nightclubs and stay out most of the night buying drinks for freelancers, your mates etc you can easily double that and more on any night..... you can easily drop 5K for a meal with a gal including a mediocre bottle of wine down at one of the beachfront restaurants as well.......or alternatively 300-500bht in a nice Thai local place with a beer I'm sure you'll find your happy medium

i dunno i guess i need to pull my head in next time, i just got home last week and added it all up 23 days not including hotel or airfare comes in at 198,000 baht, so i gues i spent close to 9000 baht a day! but i had a great time

Had a cheeky night out last night after driving over to Patong and having a couple beers too many to drive back! Here's a simple break down:
Room 400 Baht Meal 120 Baht (Just fancied some fish fingers, as you do!) Mash, beans + 2 cups of Coffee at Faultys. Bar Bill - Mai Thai 300 Baht Short time girl from Blue Bar - 500 Baht (No BF) - Snoozette - Shower and back on the Bangla by 0130 Hours Sir. Dingo's 120 Baht (Craigs last night so ringing the bell alot, thanks Craig) Hells Bells - Zero Baht - Geir not there! Packet of Benson and Hedges - 80 Baht (How much are they in the UK Now?) Black Sheep Bar - 300 Baht bar fine (Bit late but hey!) 650 Baht Bar Bill Long time BG - 1000 Baht Cup of Coffee at hotel for the road - 30 Baht Full English + OJ and Coffee at Kamlalalala Bakery - Burp! - 120 Baht So that was my night out, Accommodation, Food, Drink and Two Girls (One for about 20 Mins, it had been a while and the other all night) - Hang on......Just whistle to yourself a second............2990 Baht - Around £44/45-ish! Cheap enough for cheap old me and I went to the University of Cheapness..................in Rochdale!

This depends entirely on what you want to do.
In May, I managed to do 6000 - 7000 baht in a night. That's not even thinking about paying the girl for the night... That came out of next days money. However without barfining any girls (I had Jaun with me the whole time) , like last trip, then 1500 - 2000 baht a night for 2 people eating and drinking. I would say 5000 baht would be enough for a night out.

The above price does NOT inc Hotel or days out – Just food, drink and R & R!

i always take 10k out with me..........
most nites its 5 or 6 k.........but some nites i blow the lot...... other nites i mite only do 2 or 3 k....... i suppose one doesnt go on holidays to be counting his dosh...you go on holiday to have a good time.......... ij

i would say calculate about 10000B/night.
this includes drink for yourself, the staff/girls at the bar, BF and also a lady hardly needed less...

Most of you guys are right with your calculations.
In May this year I averaged around 2500-3000 baht per day. Included day time entertainment, food, drinking, and followed up with dinner, Mai Tai bar until 2.30am then onto soi Tiger or similar until 4.30-5am drinking more. Also had the odd massage and of course ciggies as well. Good value for the missus and I however there was obviously no BF, ST, or LT. As for our mates wanting to spend 20 quid a day. Stay home wankers. DB

Don't want to tell how much I spend in a day, must be about top in the Guinness book. Oh, and when I play golf add another few k, as golf in Phuket is more expensive than most courses in Europe.
