Cool is there a any cure for this addiction?

hey all i am about to go on my 7th tour of duty and am well and truely addicted to the place. i recall my first time getting a freelancer in bkk and i only got her because my mate was gettin her friend and we had a twin room in ambassador hotel, so didnt want to be left out. since then i have went over the 60 mark in bgs and freelancers combined and every year i cant help but count the days til i can afford to go back again. i am hopelessly in love with the place and think that the only cure to this addiction is to eventually move over there for good. unfortunately it will be many years til i can afford to do this, in the meantime i think i am limited to the once or twice a year bag emptying session. i thank god every day that i have found this place and hope it dosnt change too much by the time i can afford to move there for good.wishful thinkin i know. thai girls are a lovely change from the fat single mothers you tend to see in the post office with a fag in their mouth here in miserable ireland. ROLL ON 5th OCT!!! any advice from anyone who has been cured or who has the cure is appreciated.!

Never Looked for One

Next time your in Thailand, if you have time, stop by Ned's Bar in Sakon Nakhon. He's from Ireland too.
Besides, country BGs are a bit different from the ones in the tourist centers.

Silly Irish

You poor silly bastrad, how many times have you been there and not realised that there is NO CURE" for what you are suffering from, the symptoms can be mitigated by spending more time in LOS, but be warned the symptoms just get worse whenever you return to your homeland and their onset is quicker and more severe. My symptoms start whenever I get on the plane to go there as I already know I must come back. The only way is to go back and stay there.

It's highly addictive, I couldn't imagine living anywhere else in the world, but it takes some time to get used to the pace that anything to do with authority moves,

Jees. There are alot of Irish on this thread feeling the blues. Maybe we should all charter a plane and fcuk off to LOS. Maybe Michael O leary would do us a deal. It is Friday afternoon, I have had a sh1te week, I dont know when i will get back to LOS. I think I am going to crack up. I have been considering asking the forum if anyone(married) has actually bought a one way ticket and moved threre for good?
How did it work out?
What are the pitfalls?

IJ you must have taken a wee girl back with you surely to stay home for 4 years after being in los. if not you must have got them cut off on a farm machinery accident. or maybe you are happily married, another delusional disorder. it must be heaven , wouldnt it be great to die and come back as a bg trainer in patts or phuket, i would have a very strict curriculum, and none of this the dog ate it shite!

You've got it all wrong! IJ doesn't stay home for 4 months, let alone 4 yrs. He means he

hasn't had the LOS blues since 4 yrs ago!

I'll be in SNO next Jan so will make sure I have a beer or two there. Is there an address? It's not exactly a small city.
