Take BG's in hotel room
Hi Guys,

2 hours ago a friend and i booked a trip to phuket on 9th August.
We booked the Holiday Inn. Is it a problem to take girls in the hotel ?

Yes, Holiday Inn is one of the most girl unfriendly otels in Patong Beach

I satayed there once, booked a double in the luxury wing. Still a lot of trouble at the reception. I had to tell them I will check out the next day, then they allowed the girl in. .... not nice at all and if you feel embarassed easily, no good idea!!

I see you have made 6 postings on this site
Have you not read any of the threads about which hotels are gf or not
You will be very disappointed if you want to take a girl to Holiday Inn.
If you have only paid 10% deposit then you have time to cancel your booking without losing your deposit.
Read the threads and you will have much more idea where to find a girl friendly hotel then use one of the online Thai hotel sites to find what you want.Either that or stay one night then use the next day to find somewhere more suitable.
I too made the mistake of booking a hotel before asking here about it.
I cancelled part of it and I'm glad I did.
Use this site wisely,ask your question before making the final decision, and remember most people here have either seen it,done it or know about almost anything Phuket related.

Cancel your booking - It is low season now and very easy to get a hotel room so thers no excuse...

If you cant cancel you better start finding out where all the short time hotels are, normally cost 400-600 baht per night, you might as well write off holiday in and book a room at PS or C&N Hotel and swallow the cost

oh dear!!! I feel sorry for you go to love bar and I'll stand you a singha and a B52 to ease the pain

He has achieved what we all dream about. He has retired at 36 to look after my bar with by GF's sister and husband whilst my GF stays home and builds house and thinks babies (oh fcuk........) best place for her whilst me not in patong

So Tommy will be in Phuket around 14 jun 04 - the b....stard

Reckon I will be following suit in Nov, living between Isaan, Phuket and Scotland

Going on Thursday June 3 and stay 3 days in Singapore and meet Bafana
Then i go to Bangkok on June 6 and stay there to June 13 and come to Patong and the boardmeeting on June 13

I have phone the travel angency and he said we can book tommorrow another hotel.

I am so happy that i made the thread here.

Now the question:

Can you tell me a good hotel for 30-35 Euros a night where i have no problems with that and who is central ??

They will give you a hard time about gals...Lady joiner fee..
Try just going to a hotel and it will still be cheaper than the lady joiner fee...
Try STONEY MONDAY OASIS HOTEL www.stoneymondayhotels.com They will even pick you up ant airport and no lady joiner fee. Rooms about 650 bht per night in August. Better fun too than the Holiday Inn...

Hotel experts i need your help too, i read all the threads, expat and c&n hotel ... i know , however i am booked at the dusit laguna, can i get girls in ? i know it is 30 minutes from the action, however a luxary hotel is very important for me to have a relaxing vacation time away from the action during the day time, the night time well thats different ... nothing better than 5 star treatement .. no ?

OK guys jonny and allybaba i called the dusit no joiners fee, so i asked for this in writting, if they send it to me then its true, i will update you guys ... i even threatned them that i would cancel, and since it is the low season according to all the threads, i think they need my reservation
