That is only 3500 baht per day ... seems about fair for a 5 month long trip.

Well I'd say it sounds a fortune but then I'm looking at it from the point that if you live here for 5 months you do not hit it every night.

Then I thought about the fact it was Pad and he travelled a fair bit whilst over here and when not travelling, being Irish he hit it pretty hard every night, so no thats not a lot, but then he is a bit kheeneow and falsely accuses people of half inching his umbrellas all the time............................... feck thats how he got it in the first place!!!!!

Last year I averaged $12K THB a day…

That included accomodation, transport, food / drinks, tours, partying…

Too Much...

I thank god I'm an over paid tax free expat...

On avarage for the past 15+ trips circa 20,000 THB per day average spend(not inclu airfares) but inclu accom etc.

Min has been ~10K THB per day and the max...well I try to forget those days (~60K THB per day min)...

Bottom Line...wouldn't have really changed anything if I could do it all over again...

Best 2 years of my life.

That is an average of 18,000 baht per day ... of you paid €1,000 for the flight, still 16,000 baht per day.

Most rarely peak out on that kind of spending ... but average spending.
