Pool tournament on Saturday
At LivingRoom2..that's the one underneath Seduction. I think it starts about 9pm. Entry is 300baht and prizes are 1st 5000baht; 2nd 3000; 3rd 2000.
Would make a change for a farang to win!!

Which bar has the best pool tables ? I usually hang out round Bangla and I know there's a bar half way up which has a few small tables (including up stairs) but any bars with full size American tables in reasonable condition ?
A bar where you can walk in a get a decent game.

Most tables around Bangla are the small ones with large pockets and 30baht a game. There's a couple of bars in Soi Sukhumvit that have large tables and small pockets and pool is free there.

Ive often thought that getting a classy, well maintained venue with 9 foot american style tables, snooker or two, refrigerated air con, uniformed hostesses, is the way to go over there. Those 6 footers really annoy me...almost as much as the talc that you have to use to get the cue to glide throug your hand haha.
Patong probably not the right venue for that tho....and bangers is overloaded with em!
