Hi Guys.

Noob questions on taking a single BG for say 12 days.

What is the protocol?

Who do i give money to (and when)?

What is the going price?

She is from Up2U bar in Soi Eric, what dramas would I run into if we were to leave there to sit down at MTB in the same Soi? (almost directly opposite).

Any other tips?

Ask if she will be with you for 12 days.

If you are taking her out of an establishment where she work you pay the bar fine up front. Either all in advance or in smaller increments.
Normally you pay the girl at the end, however, 12 days may be a little long. Work it out with her.

IMO it should be 12 x LT unless you agree on something in advance. She may say Up-to-you, which largely will set the same expectations. Maybe 10k would be fair if 1k is normal LT.

Once you have BF'd her you can go wherever you want. She may encourage you to drink in her bar as she will still collect commission from lady drinks, where as in other bars she is just a customer.

If you want to take her for an extended period of time you may want to do the first few days on a day-to-day basis, unless you already "know" each other.
There will be some expectations on her part to be "taken care of" during the day, this includes food, you paying for joint ventures that cost money and that you treat her to a little gift here and there.

i know the mamasan who runs that bar WILL be upset if you just BF the girl and then only drink at MTB - its still up to you but it will be smoother if you at least have a drink or two at up2u bar first.

Also, when are you here as over xmas the girls can be very busy and may not want to do 12 days straight?

Yeh i was there in August and the mamasan looks like she could be a bit of a terror. We do 'know' each other. I've also been SMS and Emailing over the last couple of months.

Is the bar fine x 12 as well? or just a single bar fine 500ish...

I guess I was hoping to grab my girl and come and have a drink with you guys to say g'day. Have my cake and eat it too.

So long as she is employed by the bar it will be x12.

worse thing about up2u bar is you have to pass it to get to MTB..and they have eyes like hawks...im even sure they can lip read from that distance also! all im saying if you take another girl from that soi ,girl number 1 will probably spot it!

If you stay with her for 12 days you must really like her. And if she stays with you for 12 days make no mistake about it you are her boyfriend. Than after 12 days she will say i lub you, me want be wit you, me want 1 man only,me not wan't work bar.How much you send me not work bar.

up2u bar is down toward the toilets - but you would no doubt need to walk past once or twice

If you are a well know customer at the bar (perhaps for some years) you can perhaps make an arangment with the owner about the barfine.

No I am not a multiple years customer. Visited it only in August i'm afraid, but I got on pretty well with everyone in there (as you'd expect).

I do anticipate that I will be paying x day BF. I may in fact take the advice and do maybe 5 day chunks just in case I give her the ar$e - its probably the way to go.

I don't want to piss anyone off or make her feel uncomfortable by taking her to a competing nearby bar. But I wouldn't mind popping in nonetheless for some drinks. Its a funny situation i spose.

IIRC, a few years back when Marc26's girl worked at Green Fern Bar, almost right across from MTB, he would drink mostly at MTB, but pop over to GF for a beer once, maybe to say hello, buy her a drink, then go back to MTB, and she would hook up with him later, when he was done drinking at MTB. I don't know whether he paid BFs at Green Fern or not.

ok..im gettin mixed up...i thought it was the first bar on the left as you enter the soi? what got me confused was i met a bg from that bar...she texted me when i got home saying "i work at up2u bar tonight" she must have switched bars...as they do!

Up2U bar is like the 2nd or 3rd last bar on the right as you walk down the Soi. From the maps I've seen it is almost as far down as MTB is on the left.

I remember when i was there in August if I looked over to the left side of the Soi there were like about 20 BG's all in school uniforms. I figure MTB is near there.

MTB is halfway on the right (coming from Bangla) and up2u bar is 3rd from the end also on the right.

(update the Soi map nicke - 2003 is a long time ago!)

i once knew a bg named nan from up2 yoo bar and was with her for a week,payed barfine everyday 'cus didn't just want to stay in the same bar all night. so 12x it will prob be then.

You'll be on your 2nd trip to Patong and you want to stay with the 1 girl?
Do it in smaller chunks like you suggested.
Sooooo many to choose from there.
But if that's what you prefer then all the best.
I'm like a kid in a lollie shop when I'm there......have to try this.....that....that one over there........

Hahah yeh 3rd trip this year actually. but yeh i think i will be going smaller chunks.

Just bear in mind that there can be drama if you keep a BG for some days and the suddenly switch to another, especially if the new one has her bar close by.
