Scruffy Murphy's???

Hey everyone.
I'm new to the forum but have been to LOS on 3 seperate occasions. I was just wondering if anyone knows if Scruffy Murphy's still has the one man Irish band still playing? I've always had a great time listening to him in the past and hope to see him again in November. Thanks for the help in advance and maybe i'll see some of you there...

No he has not been playing Phuket on a regular basis for about 2 years.

Last I heard he was in Bangkok in 2005 playing the Irish Exchange, which is now owned by Molly Malones.

He was good fun though and always got the crown going, when he was jumping about and leaping off tables.

Neil (from the Red Hot Pototos) is now playing Scruffys with a Thai Band and shares the vocal with the Thai Drummer who is actually quite a good singer.

Don't suppose it really matters who is playing in what pub as you are bound to have a good time in patong.
