Like shooting fish in a barrel!

It may be a ong flight from UK to Phuket, but it is certainly worth it. Whilst I was at a bar at Heathrow, I met eleven guys from Sunderland, who were on their way to Patong as well. I have a feeling that I am going to meet up with them several times in the next couple of weeks.

Being low season, its fairly quiet at the moment, which is good - cos you can walk down Bangla without having your path blocked by a bunch of gawking idjits at the end of Soi Crocodile.

It also means the ratio of LBFMs to Farang is about ten to one. Its just like shooting fish in a barrel, except these fish are jumping towards the gun!

God damn you, man!!! I am so-o-o-o jealous.

When I was there on Songklarn, by one that night, I swear there were more men prowling the bars than there were BGs in them.

By the time I return in December, there will probably be maximum competition from young studs trying to pick up every one of the really awesome babes in the bars. The rest of us will have to settle for less or pay top dollar.

Exactly can't understand why more people don't go in low season, I think it rained about 4 days in total when I was there out of 14.

Thai Air usually puts on a low season deal from NZ , plus hotels are half price and you don't have to deal with crowds.

Low season gets the thumbs up in my book!

ssssshhhhhh!

Hey R3aps

I already know what it is like in low season. . . . I have been to Thailand, both in the months of July and August.

I still prefer the period around Songkran. Just on the verge of the low season.

Not too crowded, (after Songkran that is), more reliable weather, and plenty of Poontang !

Cheers

Pdm3

low season

I went to patong in March and then again in May, and i had a much better time in May. The hotel i stayed in was half the price, and i could walk around without sweating my ass off!! I am going back in 4 weeks for 2 weeks, hopefully the weather is pretty much the same. When i was ther in may, it did not rain once in the 5 days i was there
