indeed, being a newbie on the forum but an experienced Thailand traveller, one does sometimes wonder whether the forum for some veterans is no more than a cynical pass of time during times of boredom...

It could be serious all the time with just informative threads, answering how much is LT,ST, how do you spot a LB and is this hotel gf, but then it would never have taken off and you wouldn't be a newbie here because here wouldn't exist.

Things alter dramatically once you have been to MTB etc, met a few BM's and had a few good nights out with them. Of course then you have a little banter between each other because of certain funny things that happened when out together.

Also once on here for a given period of time those repetative questions tend to drive you a little stir crazy and a touch of cynisism or fun does lighten the day, but each to their own and that is also what makes this a good forum to be a member of.

You will get a serious answer to any question posted and also can have a bit of fun along the way.

See not a single bit of flaming in my response, that's cos its early and I havn't woken up fully yet!!!
