Phuket Nightlife

I have read a few brief descriptions of some classy clubs in Phuket Town. Can anyone do a field report on what these gentlemans clubs are like, what the quality of ladies are, and would they be OK with being taken all the way to Patong, for L/T if they were given the taxi fare back.

expat mates during my last tour. We hit one "upscale" hostess bar--I wasn't impressed at all and it wasn't cheap. Then we hit to nightclubs: Timber Hut and another one, the name of which I've forgotten.

I liked Timber, actually. Good fun and good atmosphere. Farang vocalist sang that night and frankly, he was very talented. As for girl hunting, OTOH, I couldn't recommend it; better to bring a date there...Girl-guy ration nearly as bad as most places in Farangland.

The second place was loud. I mean loud, as in bang your eardrums L-O-U-D! Couldn't stand it so hung about outside chatting was Thai police...
