patong newbie (and hooked)
Hi All
What a great forum. Thanks for some entertaining reading. My first post here after my first visit to Phuket. I only experienced 3 nights in Patong. One of which was a Stag/bucks night, too drunk to do anything at the end of that  I returned a few days later from the resort I was staying at in KataNoi and had a great time. I was new to all this so was a bit apprehensive. Met a great aussie at the bar in Soi Easy/dragon who told me how things work. His best advise was "treat the girls like you would your girlfriend" basically don't be rough, and show them some kindness that I'm sure they miss sometimes. Anyway, stayed at the bar with one girl who could not speak a word of English. Good start I thought. She wasn't a stunner but would not let me go and seemed a good laugh so "stayed for the ride". After hinting that I would sleep with her we all went to a Thai nightclub (2 aussies, me(english) 7 other girls and mamsan. I think we paid about 600B each for drinks etc and left a couple of hrs later. Not too bad considering how many drinks we all had. The rest, I'm sure has been mentioned a thousand times here but lets say I had a great time, I hope the BG did as well... she seemed to fool me anyway. I was gentle with her and slept holding her as she wanted. I gave her 1000B. I went back to the same bar the next night, met the same aussie, left with the same girl abt midnight. Behaved exactly the same and on offering her all I had (forgot to exchange some cash). 650B she would not take it. Even after explaining I could not return she still insisted I did not pay. Could it be that some girls can start to like you and realise some or the guys they meet are not out to "get their moneys worth" Or is this some sort of ploy to hopefully get you to return to them on your next trip? I'm sceptical and think the latter, but she could have accepted my money and my opinions of her would still have been the same. -- Bye, Carl

Maybe she loves you or maybe the fact you offered less the second night she was telling you where to shove your money? OR if you are keeping in touch, she may ask for money later!

Thanks for the welcome.
I told her I was very sorry and only had 600B on me before anything hapened, she took the money and placed it in my shirt pocket. saying "no,no,no" with a huge smile on her face. Anyhow, nice girl, maybe I will see her next time. I am back in March for 2 weeks and staying at the Andaman. It will be a lot better having my own room rather then finding a spare one at a guesthouse. I don't know where I stayed the second night but the aircon was set at 29degs!

Well, she called me "sexy man" hehe, wonder how many times she's said that? I'm not "hansum man" but better looking then some of the blokes floating around the bars. Interesting to watch a lot of the girls turn their backs on the dodgy looking ones. Whenever another girl approached me my BG would pinch them and be quite defensive.
I had to reassure her a couple of times that I wasn't going to wander off. Also quite surprised to find her waiting for me outside the toilets at the thai nightclub. I loved those toilets... no flush, just a big bucket of water and a pail I was under the dragon go-go? soi easy isn't it?

Oh yeah, I'm a classic newbie, though I did make sure I didn't have too much to drink, but the Singahs were flowing down quite nicely. I remember looking at the pot with my reciepts in and then looking at the guy next to me who arrived later, he had twice as many and no girl in tow. Poor sod, he was no Brad Pitt, I like it when the girls are a little choosy. hehe. I'll make sure I see more girls next time. Going out on March 7th, not Bangla Road every night though, I don't think my body could take it  Quote:

gidday talon from another hooked on patong boy, sounded like a good trip, hope your march trip is even better, u said you couldnt do bangla road every night on your next trip but i bet u end up doing it every night, i said the same thing on my last trip that my body couldnt handle it but when u r in your room trying to rehydrate after last nights 20 or so singhas u remember how good last night was and you cant pass up another experience like that, you can recover on the plane trip home. Hit it hard every night mate, cheers!

My first venture into Patong was part of an aussie/uk stag night. My cousin married her aussie boyfriend out there. It was a great night. Excelent meal first then to the Thai boxing stadium, ring side seats... well, leather sofa! then we hit Bangla Road which included a pingpong show (yeah, i know), go-go then bar. Heading back to out hotel was fun being followed by the police (lights on) in a tuk-tuk with the aussies "thongs" thrown out the back. My other two visits were alone and quite different Attched pics. The ride home and me loosing money to a far superior connect 4 player. Quote:

I try not to give into playing the connect 4 game. No sense in myself playing knowing that I will just loose. Thai girls are very good at this game.
