Summertime Bar
Heading out in mid January for my fourth trip in eighteen months. Nowhere else to go ! I have unfortunately misplaced all my e-mail addys from previous trips. Can anybody tell me if Dave from Edinburgh and his Italian partner Phillipe are still running the Summertime Bar on Soi Eric?

Alright min
Both were still there 4 weeks ago when i was there, and had no plans of leaving, i dont have davies phone number but i have someones that can get it tomorrow, if nobody gets in first. Will he remember you?? dont want to give out numbers to stalkers or freaks  EDIT, just read your post again and you only want to know if they are still there, so yes they are. can still get phone number if you want it. |
Summer time bar changed name recently, as I understand Philippe was bought out by his Scottish partner and his friends. I do see Philippe a lot in Soi Eric anyway.

A Police officer pulled over a driver who'd been weaving in and out of the lanes. He approached the car window and said, 'Sir, I need you to blow into this breathalyser tube?
The man immediately reached into his pocket and produced a doctor's note. On it was written: 'This man suffers from terrible asthma. Please don't make him perform any action that'll leave him short of breath. The officer said, 'OK then, I need you to come and give a blood sample.' Straightaway, the man produced another letter. This one read: 'This man is a haemophiliac. Please do not cause him to bleed in any way.' So the police officer said, 'Right, I need a urine sample then.' The man produced a third letter from his pocket. It read, "This man Supports Aberdeen Football Club. Please don't take the piss out of him".

Concerning summertime bar - Dave and Philippe
Hi ...
Iīve been from 16th nov - 12th dec to Patong. I know Dave very well and long, also his friends and partners. Dave is still running this bar with Bar (his gf - she is the boss now) and his schottish partner or reverse. Philippe had to finish due to several reasons which I donīt want to talk about. The bar has got a new name, sorry to new that Iīve forgotten  [maybe like dirty needs or dirty deeds], The new menues have been finished and I left two days later. So I couldnīt keep this in mind as I knew this place for long with the old name ... but now there is much better atmosphere than before ... If you meet Dave and Bar in the next time, great them from "Schaumi" - they will know ...
