The best of the sunny days were 8, and from 23 - 28 October. Most days were calm to medium rough at the beach, with only from 5 – 7 October having quite rough seas at the beach

I have only good things to say about The Orchid residence... Stayed there many times. Good service, nice staff, really nice rooms. Imho it's better than c&n... Just try to get a room on the Soi Sansabai side since there is a BIG building project going on on the opposite side and they stop working late and starts early...
No bigger difference between deluxe rooms and superior. Just the bathtub as far as I´ve noticed... Taking a bath in a bathtub is not my cup of tea so i always save that 100-200 baht for an extra beer or two... /J
