Phuket Town massage
For those that have ventured outside the "comfort zone" of Patong and gone into Phuket Town in search of entertainment:
What can you recommend in the way of massage? Is there anything similar to "op ap nuat" (soapy) as in BKK, or Pattaya (fish bowl, girls with #'s, etc...)
How are their attitudes towards farangs, and prices? I have heard of several places in Phuket Town that supposedly have very lovely girls, but have never had the "nerve" to go....maybe concerned about communication a bit..
Also heard of Soi 7 and Soi 11, but again, I understand it's geared towards locals rather than foreigners.
If anybody has any direct and recent experience, I'd be very appreciative....
Cheers!

I have been living in Phuket town for several years. Lots of oppertunities in that town, from the low down and dirty to High class massage parlours.
If you are a cheap Charlie than soi 11 is your street. Prices for locals are around 300 bath for short time, they usually charge foreiners 500 to 800.
Another low down and dirty plac is near the Phukettown harbour... a row with karaoke bars... but its a bit dangerous to go there. so i leave the info at this.
Good massage parlours for foreigners are the well known ones near the big hotels. Lingo might be a little of a problem but normally it works out fine. prices are normally 500/800 for massage and 1000/1500/2000 for the full extra's
Cheers and good luck
