At the minute the bars in Bangla have been open up to three am so far this week.I will keep an eye on this weekend and see if we get to 4am.

Wrong,Wrong Wrong!!!!
Last night (Friday) the big Police Chief was down Bangla and all the bars were forced to shut at 0230!!
  I went up the street and even Taipan and Rock City were chucking out and had all lights on.  This insanity is not over yet

100% Rustyasian my frog informs me police in Patong have been given the hard word. We will see how long it lasts.

I know these closings are day to day,but will give you the run down of my experience in April.
6 April BKK-NEP was closed at 1am-ish Patong no need to report as more accurate info is reported daily. Patts I believe is around 2am(never saw it for myself)..left bars a little before. Was back to hotel bar where I was staying that I believe was open until 3am. I was always back there for food before bed between 2 and 3am.

Been there 3 times in last month and 1am all lights go out and sour faced mib even took my pool sticky thing away so I couldnt finish game.

Heared that the police came into Soi Tiger last night to check the dancers. Apparently visible skin on the belly is a no no.
The last few days I noticed more belly skin but tonight is probably going to be more covered. Seems that just about everything is now closing around 3 AM.

Was at the new Rock City in Patong the other night. Band finished thier last set a little after 2 AM. Lights came on at 2:15, and the place cleared out. seemed normal closing time for that bar. Unfortunately the song that was being played at closing time was a remake of Ice Ice Baby. Who in gods name would do a remake of the worst song in the history of music? Closed Soi Eric the other night, closing time was 2-2:15 then too.
I try to sleep, theyre wide awake, they wont leave me alone. They dont get paid to take vacations, or let me alone. They spy on me, I try to hide, they wont let me alone. This crack down seems insane. Don't need to summarize the posts.
The interview question of "do you have baby?" may be more of a factor going forward to some. With that said, most of the girls I have met in LOS do have babies back home. Baby marks have not really been a factor to me for the few that have had.

Out in bangers last night, i decided to go home at 1.30, bars were still open, morning, mid morning, evening, night bar was still busy, but decided to give it a miss.
think alfie carried on, sure he said cascades closed around 3, but carried on the party in his house.

to be honest, all this limitation of what the girls can wear almost reminds me of what Muslims do with their women
i can understand them not wanting girls to maybe reveal too much dancing on bars, but to not allow Sharky's uniform when any family can turn on tv and see britney spears/tata young in same outfit is absurd

Look like its more strict for bars facing Bangla than inside the sois. Please note this is only for girls dancing, not a rule what to wear for girls in general. Lion bar seems (almost) to be back to their old style.
