Rockhard May Be Back!

Met the new manager of the Rockhard, Wayne Napier, last night in the Mai Thai. He was down to meet Nicke and we talked to him about the board. I think he'll become active. Managed bars in Bangkok for 15 years. Very personable guy.

Later that night we stopped in for a quick drink and the place was full and the girls looked great. Wayne is on the job 3 weeks now. I looked like the place was back to where it use to be.

Stop in and tell Wayne you heard about him from the board and you're there for your free drink.

I had some great night there in the past; the 1999 new years eve party(when we all thought that Y2K would go into melt down ); the ex mamasans who used to run the upstairs when I went for a Beer and B52 chaser and a girl for the night.

and who could forget Big Bill Souyer who used to spin the tunes anything you liked great atmosphere and some very fond memories for me.

I know that Larry the owner has sunk millions of baht in the place and years and years of heart ache together with his wife so hope it works out for them

I just blasted Go go's on another thread before reading this one... good luck to him and let's hope for the best. If anything the place is location, location location so would be great to see it pumping!

havent been in the rock for a while,,,used to be a hoot when big bill was there though,,,that was many moons ago though,,in saying that reading the threads regarding the new manager etc,,,im gonna make a point of popping in and saying hi,,theres one thing gaurenteed when you go to rock hard,,you will always bump into someone you know.
