Phuket Town -- Soi 11

Hey, BM's.

Wanting something a bit different (and cheap; the ex got all the money) close to home without the neighbors yak-yaking about my habits...

I'm curious about Soi 11 in Phuket Town.

I haven't found ANYTHING in the forums with more detail than a cursory description (fish bowl in shop-front windows, 500-800 baht for foreigners, etc.)

Has anybody given it a go recently? How do the girls look? (I'm not expecting any stunners but it would be helpful to know if they're all fat or if there are any medium-hotties -- thin legs and tummy a definite plus...) How early does the action start? Any recommendations on watering holes in the area?

Also looking for a bit of daytime/early evening action on the weekend in either Phuket Town or Rawai. Any recommendations? Or, would I be better off in Kata or Karon? (Trying to avoid Patong because of prices and Chalong Pier Road as many of the bg's there seem to know my ex and I really don't want THOSE hassles!)

Thanks for the help... Perhaps we can put together a more complete guide of the "off-the-beaten-path" places (I mean, NOBODY seems aware of the action in the Ao Chalong area...)

Is the p4p scene anything like patong???? or is it harder or do they work different???

LULT, the pink lady clubs, coyotes (the one in the old cinema) and a few other pubs and clubs in phuket town are really good hip places to go.

Personally I would give the Soi 11 area a wide birth as it is a bit sad really.
The reason's for this are detailed in the other thread I mentioned.

Any other BM's read this thread? I would be interested to get your feed back.

Governor Niran confirmed that “underage prostitutes” were discovered in Patong in late February. “During the crackdown on entertainment venues staying open after the 2 am closing time, police found a number of Thai females younger than 15 working as prostitutes,” he said.

Gov Niran did not reveal the names and locations of the bars or how many child prostitutes they employed.

Police reported that some of the girls had been brought to Phuket to work as prostitutes, making the issue one of human trafficking, said Gov Niran.

Last week, Phuket Provincial Chief Administrative Officer (Palad) Piya Bharatasilpin said that one establishment on Phun Pol Rd Soi 11 in Phuket City had been closed after a girl younger than 15 was found working there.

I am in 100% agreement with the other thread.. The exact kind of vibe I would not be a part of..

As to pink lady places.. Been to (I think) the cafe down by the CAT office, had some fun but didnt leave with any.. Its less immediately accessible and probably more expensive than Patong if you dont know the ropes I think, high quality girls. Did have fun tho.

I have also been to the more rustic sing song places where you send up flower garlands and have them come sit with you.. Struggled on the language side there.. Bit harder and wasnt sure that P4P was really the point, also had lots of eyes on me being the only whitey so made me behave better !!

Fantasia is pretty accessible.. Go with a group and get a bottle.. Girls asking high money tho.. Dont know if that was just farang price, just my price, or what.. We had a pushy / annoying mamasan.. Get the feeling they like high rolling asian customers.

These are places to chill and hang, theres also quite a few more direct P4P places.. Book with girls photos, big bath rooms, more luxury setup than anything in Patong for room + girl scene.. Kind of like a combination between soapy + LT system. I am still not sure how I feel about this, its more P4P than the BG's or FL's meeting a customer but the girls seemed cheerful and it seemed like a part time freelance system for them to make bucks on the side.

I thought the 'cafe' was opposite CAT.. Probably Phang Nga road..

Theres another upstairs pink lady up near prison in a cul de sac near a bike dealer.. And a pink lady 2000 also down Phang Nga Rd over the junction near the bus station.

Also stuck my head into a sing song joint that was on the big roundabout.. Had a downstairs private bar (empty when I looked) and an upstairs.. Couldnt work out if this was a sing song garland joint or if you picked a private singer for table service.. Had a mamasan shoving a menu of girls photos under my nose but it was early at night and might have been the 'coming attractions' list.

I list all these but dont really have a clue how they all work.. I can hit timber hut or T2 more than P4P places.. I just like to nose about when I think theres action around and have a look see..

For the Cafe, from Robinsons go to the McDonalds on the corner T-junction; turn right then left at the traffic lights and it's down that road on the left behind The Bale which is opposite the Customs House. Bit further down from the Customs House is the Immigration Office.

The Club is the one up near the Prison.

At the McDonalds junction if you go left instead down to the huge roundabout there are 4 or 5 clubs there including the Kor Tor Mor.
