I have a friend in Karon that owns a bar and their music selection sucked when I was visiting in February. Leaving next week and I have mixed up about 10 hours of CD’s with the latest hits. The internet is great!!! Even mixed a few CD’s labeled “old farts” with memorable titles by the likes Sinatra, Elvis and many others to draw us farangs in for drink. Low season…they need all the help they can get. Someone need to help the DJ in Soi Eric with a few new music titles.

IMHO the music was very good low season last year until that DJ quit. On the other hand, some customers like the music and says its relaxing. The problem with music is you cant please everyone.

As for myself, I would like to hear more Euro pop/disco and trance/techno music, but a big group of the guys in the bar is 40-60 and like different music.

J,
are you here now?
Really ifyou aren't here right now and haven't been for the last 2 months, you really shouldnt be commenting on this thread...

Now, I'll admit tonight it wasn't as bad as yesterday . Maybe eric is reading the forum after all...

Guess which Soi owner I threw a ball too the other day and he just balanced it on his nose and clapped his hands a lot!

There is a prize for this.

So if Soi Eric is owned by an "Eric", does it follow that there are soi owners wandering around Patong named Sea Dragon and Sea Pearl?

If so , are they related??....

....and what about Lions and Tigers, are they related or not? (They look alike)

Are you telling me there is a Soi Sea Lion I dont know about?
If so , is the owner ( Khun Sea Lion ) some sort of b@atard product of the others?
What is his taste in music?

This is all very interesting....

same same......if the girls are smiling dancing and having a genuine good time it definitely sets the mood for a great night IMHO.

Mashups and Bastrad pop.

I used to live just up the road from where the 2 belgian brothers (the Funking Dawealie Bros AKA 2ManyDJs) were.. They were the first real mashup / bastrad pop pioneers that made any success.. Used to run a sunday night club (hard for monday starts !!) that was always very very 'eclectic' sounds..

Odd collection of vinyl trainspotters and ketamine heads !!

Actually it was Soi Sea Lion which I made up as I forgot it's just called Soi Lion and I was getting it mixed up with Soi Sea Dragon etc etc

Not to worry.............There wasn't really a prize anyway, I made that up as well.

I knew that because you do it every time, you have a Soi Sea Lion fixation!!! normally I put it down to an excess consumption of beer sea tigers!!!!

Funny when you get a something wrong like that and always from then on keep calling it wrong?? I do the same with peoples names some times, get it wrong first time and then never seem to be able to get it right, same as me always thinking Keld is from Holland??? no idea why??

He is isn't he! I'm sure I've seen him in some inflatable footwear! When he disappeared for a week to AC without telling anyone, I thought he'd popped his clogs!

Geddit, inflatable footwear, popped his clogs, I had to repeat it for the slower readers.
