Freelancer Bar and Residence Garden Hotel

I know this is the Phuket forum and all, but being that my holiday is very soon and I haven't booked any hotel yet, I need some assistance of the experienced ones out there.

Have any of you boys been to the Freelancer Bar in Pattaya and/or stayed at the Residence Garden hotel? The FLB website has a link to this hotel, the pics look great but there's no other listings of it in the "Pattaya" section when I do a search.

The FLB girls look yummy too BTW!

The FLB website already has a link to this website too. I was looking for anyone's experience who may have actually stayed there. What about the FLB too? Sounds like Pattaya is a high-action place. I hear of some actually being "overwhelmed" by the amount of girls. Hmm, I think I can live with that for my first time.

The sheer number of girls in Pattaya is just spooky if you ask me. I didn't know where to begin.

I stayed at the Residence Garden Hotel last September. It is a very nice hotel with spacious rooms, means seperate bedroom, large living room with kitchenette and TV. Unfortunately there is no chance to look TV in bed after a good fcuk. The hotel is located at the Baht Bus Route, so it´s easy to get to the hot spots at night and to Jomtien Beach. Forget about the pool. It has the size of a bath tub. If you don´t book the room at home via internet it´s no problem to get the reduction at the reception. Just tell them about Freelancer Bar.
I haven´t been to Freelancer Bar yet, but as I got the link to the Pattaya Images in the forum I could kick myself for not having been there. Seems that the parties there are outstanding. Surely I will be there on my next trip in December.

have a look in the Pattaya section of this forum. There's info on FLB and other hotels.

For me, FLB is definitely worth at least one night of your stay. There are just too many places to limit yourself to just one bar for the whole time, but one night for sure.

Residence garden is very nice, by all accounts. Only problem is it's a little bit farther away from the action than other equally good hotels.

Which hotels would you suggest to be closer to the action. Maybe something within 5 minutes walking distance yet far enough to be quiet.
