Best bar in Patong for watching the football?

Any views on this? Best I would say means good-sized screen, the commentary rather than cheesy pop music, and good service (meaning keeping you supplied with beer). Need your help urgently, I'm in Patong and the weekend starts tomorrow!

Your profile doesn't say where your from, so there no hint as to what is football by your meaning.

Thumbs up Margarita Bar

Hi, the best bar to watch football in my oppinion is Margarita Bar. They don´t play any music during the soccergames and the show two games if that is possible.

AFL Australian football

Does anybody know the best place to watch the AFL in Patong? The only place I know of is the Sailor Bar on the Beach road. Is there any better alternantive to the Sailor BAr?
I arrive on Saturday and it is the first week of the finals so i will be keen to tune in.

That bar is the Margarita Bar as mentioned earlier in the thread. Always seems to be deserted lately. I always found ok for soccer but you will be breathing fumes all night as it is open air and you have all the traffic from SongPee Rd whizzing past.

JTL- For AFL there is a bar on the upper level to the right at the Soi easy entrance (where dragon disco is). If in bangkok try the bus stop bar about a 200m down soi 4 from nana. Nice setting, and good for watching AFL.
