Closed because of Disease

Well first of all this is my first post although I have actually been reading this forum for about 4 months and have lived here in Phuket for 4 years. Anyway I though I would share a rather interesting story with you all. I have been frequenting a massage/sauna/bar establishment in Nai Harn, Rawai for some weeks. It's not a bad place there's a pool table and girls etc. (although the beer prices are high for the area). Anyway I jumped on the motorbike tonight and headed down there mainly because there is a cute little girl in there that I fancy. So I get there and the place is closed, strange me thinks, anyway I go around a few different bars in Rawai and apparently they have closed because some of their girls have been acused of transmitting STD's. Now fortunately for me I have not actually shagged any of them yet (never will now), but some farangs have reported them to the police because of what they have caught.

To be honest I find this very surprising that something like this would close a place, although I did hear rumour that one of the girls there was off sick because of an STD, that was about a week ago. I must say if I caught something I don't think I would rush to admit to it. Anyway the rumour machine is now in full swing down here, people saying that a lot of the girls there never us condoms etc. I must say there was always a lot of Thai guys hanging around there and as we know they don't like the old rubbers.

So the moral is you can never be too careful, always wear a raincoat, and if you have shagged anything from a big sauna/massage place not far from Nai Harn beach go and see a doctor.
