Xmas 2004

My mate and I are coming back to Thailand for Xmas and New Year. Over Christmas we will be in Chaing Mai and then Kata Beach for New Year.

Our previous trip was October 2003 to Kata beach and we obviously spent time in Patong but mainly just going to Banana Disco.

Having read this board for a few months now, we will definately pop into the MT Bar and hope to meet up with some of you guys. So .. if you see us, Bill and Gordon, .. make a point of coming over and saying hello.

With regard to the girls, I guess its going to be very busy at that time of year on Bangla Rd .. so is it going to cost more for the girls ? Last time, we paid 1000bht long time - that was enough for the FL's in Banana anyway.

I've heard alot about Tiger on here .. is it better than Banana ?

Finally, if anyone knows anything about Chaing-Mai, good bars etc, then any info would be appreciated.

As For Discos.i Used To Like Banana But Over The Last 2 Years Its Just Full Of Farangs..tiger And Taipan Are Much Better..

Sorry guys, I am new hear. Can you advise me the price for LT and ST ? Last time, the girl asked me for 2000 for a night and the one from A-Go-Go ask for 4000 of an over night. Is that reasonable ? I don't mind paying a little bit more if they are good but I don't want to be the fool throwing money out. Afterall, this may affect other brothers who may not be prepared to pay so much.

1000LT, 500ST..
Then it is up to you... If you find a girl worth 2000, why not. But most BM`s here never pay more then 1000LT...
As for gogo girls, they charge more. But still up to you what you think resonable..

even if the girl is a gogo girl, i would not pay more then 2000lt.

You should be looking at 1000 - 1500lt max

I dont know about never paying more.. I am a resident and the 500 / 1000 rule is all well and good but if you take multiple girls at once or if you get really up for it girls I quite often go over those odds..

The difference is if the girl ASKs up front for more I generally drop her.. First the fun then if she put in the effort and if we had fun together then I am much more likely to put my hand deeper in my pocket.. I probably have about a 2k upper limit for a really hot fun girl. Any more than that is japanese money

Any BG that is trying to stich up the deal before the action begins I shy away from. Buy her a few drinks, get to know her and then if she is willing to go back to your room with out the pre-determined contract..9 times out of 10 your gonna have a wild time. Then afterwood you pay what you want...but just remeber to not short change her otherwise next time you will be own your own..

That happened to my mate rob and ended up taking money out of his wallet to cover the cost I think she took $200 Australian (6000 bh). So good advice not to short change them..

Also I did not mention that afternoon ST's get less... Basically thats dead time for most BG's and so if I have an afternoon hookup thats going to be less well rewarded than a nightime which is lets face it 'working' hours..

Looks like your mate either has plenty of cash(to leave his money lying around) or has rocks in his head.

I can relate to your mate a little, but these days I carry two thing with me at all times(money and protection), you never leave home without them....

Where's the best place to change currency to get the best Baht rate ? I changed mine before I left home last trip but I recall my mate got a better baht exchange rate at BKK Airport ?

Any advice ?

normally i would agree with los about where to change but 1 thing i have noticed whenever i have been in los is that i have got the best rate for sterling cash at least at bkk airport.

Same same 4 me Steve...those little booths give good rates for cash in sterling
