Dirty Mikes holiday
Hi,
I have finally found a bit time to tell a few stories. Those of you who saw me this trip will have probably noticed that in the shagging department I was a none starter. Maybe time to not be called 'Dirty' Mike anymore ?  I had a fantastic holiday. I had a well needed rest, saw a lot of friends, had a good laugh and just generally 'chilled'. I still love Thailand, and Patong is still my favourite place. When I left Samui, and landed at Phuket airport, I felt great. It was good to be back. However, I have seen quite a few changes in me, and Thailand over the years (I dont have a problem with change. Its normal, and ALWAYS happens). I guess the biggest thing for me now, is that Thailand just seems so 'normal'. Seeing 5 people on one motorbike, ladyboys showing their surgical pussies, razor blades being pulled out of a girls muff in a go-go show etc... I dont even bat an eyelid, whereas when you see it for the first few times, you are gobsmacked. Another thing I am getting tired of is that you ALWAYS seem to have someone who wants to rip you off. Not for big amounts, but tuk-tuk bastards, motorbike taxis, bar girls etc. are always trying to hump you. I dont blame them - thats there job, and they are good at it, but after the tsunami, the tuk tuk drivers tried to charge the remaining people 200 baht ! Get fcuked ! Another example was Dragon Disco. I used to play pool with Geir there, and they charge 100 baht for ANY normal drink, and more for the imports, so... one time, Geirs girlfriend has a small water - 100 fcuking baht for a 5 baht bottle of water ! Some Thai people make 200 baht per day, and they want 100 baht for water. I know Patong is one of , if not the most expensive place in Thailand, but its starting to get out of hand. I decided I didnt want to go crazy with shagging for a few reasons. The main one being I have had too many sexual diseases already, and it would only be a matter of time before I got the big one. Believe me, like a lot of you, I have done my fair share of shagging. Now was time to take it easy. I know people will say 'use a condom' , but I know myself too well. I would end up in the shower with them, and I would fcuk them raw. I have done it too many times before. I also love licking them out, and that would end in trouble too It may seem as if I am p1ssed off with Thailand, but im not. I just have a feeling that Patong might be spoiling itself a bit. If girls in Patong want a minimum of 2,000 baht , and girls in Pattaya want 1,000 baht , then its easy to see what will happen. Likewise for getting ripped off. Stories to follow in next threads -

Hi Mike,
Were most of the girls looking for 2,000 Baht minimum, coops myself and another mate are going over to Patong in just over 2 weeks time, although we haven't booked any internal flights yet. We were thinking it may not be the best time to visit Patong and take some of the gloss of the holiday, were doing Bangkok for 3 nights maybe Pattaya would be the better option?

Just to compare numbers, I know the standard fee in Hat Yai for LT is 2000 baht, so it is not only Phuket where the prices have gone up.
I did my research in KL and the prices there is 2000 baht ST and 5000 baht LT. Look like the prices has gone up all over the board. Pattaya may be the exception, I dont know, I have no experience from there. Also what I have heard Bangkok is not any better, most girls want ST at high rates, very few want to stay LT with customers.

If you take a girl out at that rate every night, the bill is getting really high!
2 weeks holliday x 2000 bath + expenses+bf  That would be around 35-40.000 bath......... Happy I bring my wife next time!

Mike, Jonny....... Mybe its a drawback for you that you cant pick a lady for 1000bth in Bangla at any time, but there is a lot of places that the girls still will do it for 1000 or less.. yesterday I went out with Graham and robert, and there was plenty of offers for sex in soi Lion and soi Gonso for 1000bth....Even the norwegian man (the pizzaguy) pickeg one in a Tiger-bar and payed 1000..............

Price Rise
Hi Mike are you sure this is not just high season prices which seems strange after the Tsunami or is this a general price rise across the board.
This seems strange what do they call a general bg meeting and inform of minimum charge out rates, I think Thailand is still the cheapest but this may be changing.

I do wonder if it is us who are changing. The BG's see a newbie, wide eyed and gob smacked and like to show him a good time - possible long term boyfriend - 1000 Baht no problem. Perhaps when they see us old mongers coming, worldly wise, speak thai, seen it all, they know they will have to work hard and not much chance of a long term boyfriend. Hence the higher price.

I think it may also be the almost across the board thai business ethic of raising prices when business is hard (to compensate for lack of customers) compared to the more western style of offering discounts or promotions to stimulate more business.
Another thought is some of these girls are maybe thinking better to score one guy a week at 2500 or 3000 baht when they can get it, rather then 3-5 a week at 1000 baht? Less work for them! There are alot of girls out there who are not the high volume girls earning 30K+ and more a month and are happy earning 10-15K a month (enough to pay for loom and send some money home). With the constant arrival of 1st timers in Patong its not hard to find guys who will pay 2000+ and up, as many new posters on this board have admitted to. So why wouldnt they want to target or prefer to go with the newbie 2K+ crowd. More money for less fcuking. Newbie shoots his load after 5 mins, hands over 2K/3K. Monger/BM bangs her senseless for hours, hands over 1K. Also more opportunity to try and go for the hook, more opportunity to use all the bargirl 101 lines with the 2K+ crowd.

I'm with you Oskin - I agree totally. Why do 6 nights work a week when you can (maybe 75% likely) do 2 nights work and get the same total money? Espy if you are not trying to score every possible baht? Also, you can then use price to "pick and choose" your punters etc - makes for a more pleasant life....
Then only exception would seem to be a willingness to take the normal rate (or lower) if they think they can get an even more stress free and pleasant life by finding a regular "boyfriend".... BTW - it was great to meet so many BM's lately - I'm sorry I missed the golf day! Thanks to Nicke and Eade for being great hosts at a difficult and stressul time (daily hits dropped on the server Nicke?  ) and espy to Dirty Mike for his "how to get the best experience from a bargirl" newbie tutorial one night on Bangla!!

i know girls in patong that will only go ST 1500bt. but did you ever stop and think that these girls dont particually like having sex with us sweating farangs. sometimes, if a girls likes you, shell go for less money, sometimes she wont go with you for any amount. i think you a really looking at it from too much the farangs perspective. some girls would rather go home, than take 1000baht from a guy she doeant want to have sex with.

Exactly.. One of the gogo girls that we used to pull our group games with also had the whole face issue..
We would BF 4 - 6 of them and 2 or 3 of us would all get it on.. With sessions like that (cause the girls all played together and played the game well) we would pay 1000 or maybe 1500 sometimes per girl and that was for a ST (but a long one.. Most of the night.. Well again, I never payed more then 1000, and got all the girls I REALLY wanted!
Like I said, I first make them confident, I am always alone on first approach and play the romantic soul instead of the fast fu*k! It is that you all like Patong so much! Like said before, Kata and Karon, they ask never more then 1000! But I had one turn-down there, with all the family orientated tourists, the food in the restaurants is not as before! I did found much better ones in Patong, especially the little ones outside!

To anyone ask yourself this 1,000 baht LT, 14 pounds sterling, roughly 20 euro, oh such a lot of money - NOT Seems to me most girls in Patong will settle for 1500 baht LT, some will take less and some wil demand more & if you are a dude of course you can get it for free G

Ive been here a very long time since 1989 Years ago a bg would never speak about price remember before the answer about cost was ( upto you ? ) well thats gone way out of the Window now !! WHY ??? - I blame many things like what does the bar girl think when you pay 1000 baht to the Hotel for this sexy thing to come to your room - She thinks **** I have to **** him all night for that ? so the word goes around if the Farang will pay the Hotel 1k then we should charge double ?? Same thing apply's when you spend 2/3 k a night on beer ( she thinks same ) Just my Thought's Also the BG are not same as years ago they have lost something maybe too many tourist's around so to them there is another mug around the corner .. There are still wonderful girls out there, just as in the past! There are also "more" girls and more "tourists" then 20 years go (except now of course).
