Summer 1998 , tomyam has just rented a bungalow in chalong for a year and has his live -in bg , wan from korat now for the last 2 months , wan dances at sailor bar in soi sea dragon and life could not be better , they do not make them like wan anymore , she does everything for me and to this day is still the best all-round f*ck i,ve ever experienced.
Wan is 24 at this time and she has a young sister of 18 , who has come down from korat to work at the bar (she has never worked bar/karaoke before , straight of the farm), she is staying with us at the bungalow for a while before she starts work on saturday , on friday we go out to timber hut in phuket town , wans sister doesn't speak a word of english , looks only 14 and is pissed as a*seholes after only 2 heinekens , where she utters her first word in English "hey you" to me , this has me in knots and was to become her name as i could not pronounce her real name.
Saturday night comes and we head off to the bar , the bg,s have set up balloons and a general party atmosphere exists , hey-you seems ok and relaxed , is smiling and appears to be having fun , the bar starts to attract some customers , eventually someone latches on to hey you , the guy is huge and half-pissed , hey you is tiny , the time comes , the guy wants to barfine her short time , the deal is struck with the mamasan and the girls put up a big cheer , I look at hey you , the realisation that this is for real has just dawned on her , the smile is still there , but I can tell that she is getting nervous , there is fear in her eyes as she walks hand-in-hand with her first-time farang towards the short-time hotel in soi sea dragon , she keeps glancing round to look at her sister wan , she is clearly terror struck , I look at wan and am shocked by what I see in her eyes , just coldness , nothing there.
hey-you is not gone very long , no more than an hour , she returns to the bar , she is crying her eyes out and we have to take her home , she continues to cry most of the night.

not long after this I broke up with wan and lost all contact with them

untill last night , staggering on my way from love bar to taipan at 2 in the morning, i hear a voice I recognise , it,s calling "hey-you , hey-you" , I turn around and there she is little hey-you from sailor bar , I stop and get talking to her , her english is good now , she is a freelancer these days and not before long she wants to go with me , but i can't get the image out of my head of that first night and just would not have felt good about giving her one so i pass.

Seven years is a long time in this game and although little hey-you is still these days remarkably pretty , there is a huge difference in her appearance now to then , it is hard to describe in words what form it takes other than innocence lost

I wonder who I will bump into tonight!!!

Nice "first-farang" story, Tomyam. All of us know that the girls work because they choose to work,so for money.... but their first time must be a difficult experience to live. Afterwards, I guess it's a question of use. After all, they are free to do what they want, but maybe it is one of the reason why many of us can't treat them like professionals. Most of the girls keep this part of innocence somewhere in their heart.

its a sad story,and ive heard it before on the net, i considered this before going to los to go with bar girls

Bg l know told me that her sister first came down to Patong with her to work in a bar with her (both for the first time)....on Nite 1 farang wants to go with her, she says not 2nite but 2 morro ok, Nite 2, farang turns up, not 2 nite but 2 morro ok, Nite 3....Farang turns up again, and this time will not be put deferred....... in hotel and tears flow, angry farang gets no sex and takes girl back to bar to get barfine back......bar girl goes back to Bkk next morning at 7am, without telling sister.........broke, farangless but with her pussy intact.

The more you stay here the more you see girls coming from the farm etc never work bar before. Within 6 months or even less sometimes they really change and most not for the better. I can think of a few at my bar who fit into this category

Well its understandable I mean most of the guys these BG's have to fcuk are 20 yrs older, fat, dirty or just plain right disrespctful towards them.

Its a hard life/work to live in when being a BG so its get hard or get screwed right over

Yes, I remember in Chaweng, Samui a few years ago a 'girl' called Shompoo (Pink) - ahh hell she was gorgeous.

But I figured I just coudn't go with her as she looked the wrong side of 17.

One of the hardest decisions ever, after several Singhas!

Four months later (when I returned) she was a toughened BG smoking and drinking and nothing like the Angel I remembered from such a short time previously.

She also told me that her first time was with an Italian guy who didn't pay her afterwards.

What an induction to the 'life' eh?
