girls, hotels available/costs
hi,can any one help please with good information.
now in Europe we are getting different reports about patong bay. please can anyone say if April/May patong hotels are open and if there are still girls in the bars. very interested to know the costs please. also how much are the barfines and tips st/lt for the girls.  many thanks it is difficult to get good new information now in europe.

Give the guy a break...
Everything is running as if nothing happened, except some hotels at the beach in Patong. Kamala is hit more severy, but that is not a "girlie"-area! On other beaches, like Kata, you will have to search to find evidence the the Tsunami has passed here! And girls everywhere as usual, Patong, Kata or wherever they normally are! Too much for you to chose from!

or was i just lucky  in all fairness i understand where you are coming from BUT!!!!!!! it IS difficult to get UP TO DATE new information as to what is happening in what is probably a fast changing scene out there. i have done my homework and realise traditionally Phuket is a little dearer than say Pattaya. previous rates seem to be 500/1000 st/lt food probably 75% dearer etc on TV here in uk there was a programme a few days back saying many hotels had slashed their rates. airfares were down etc they could hardly say the rates for the st/lt scene had come down too could they???  that is all i was asking about. it is no good me reading through old threads to discover whats happening now if anyone would like to help me with this info it WOULD be appreciated.  all my money grimsbyuk

Hi Grimsbyuk,
I left Patong about 2 weeks ago, after nearly 3 months in LOS, mostly spent in Patong. There were plenty of girls around. No problem there. BFs are normally 200 Baht in beer bars. "Tips" for the girls vary. If a girl is hot and wants 2000, you'll have a hard time negotiating a lower price unless you are pretty hot yourself.  If she is nice, but no stunner, she may ask 2000, but will settle for 1500. If she is just average, then she will most likely be happy to settle for 1000, and probably won't discuss money unless you bring it up.With FLs in the discos, it is a bit different. The going rate there is 1000 Baht. Generally, my experience is that in the discos, if a girl doesn't like a guy, then she will just turn him down, and keep looking for a guy who meets her standards. If she goes with you, then it is because she likes you or figures that she can't pull much better than you, and it is 1000 Baht. I only had two ask 1500. One I gave it to, didn't attempt to negotiate a Baht, 20 yrs old and an absolute stunner. The other, I more or less laughed at, took a walk, came back and she grabbed me, said 1000 OK. She was very pretty, well better than average. If all else fails, you can always get a decent-looking girl at Safari, at 5 or 6 AM for 1000 Baht. Those are all long-time prices. I never go short-time. But from what I've heard from the other guys, the price ranges from 500 to 1000 depending on the attractiveness of the girl, and how much she likes you. Of course, if you prefer the gogo girls, then the prices are all higher than those quoted above. I would guess you could add 1000 Baht to the above. Didn't go with any gogos, so I can't say for sure. All in all, I never paid over 1000 Baht after the first two weeks I was there. I never liked the disco scene much, but found that you can get some very nice girls there for only 1000, if you learn to play the game. I had some guys who are experts coaching me. Thanks, guys! Well when I was in "Tiger" disco, many girls, but no luck, cannot call them stunner!
Outside Patong a girl never asked more then 1.000 bath to me! You can also find cuties in Karon/Kata in a more relaxed athmosphere. Like said before, if you like a girl, just ask her to come to your room. But only ask this, when you have been talking a while to the girl and bought her a drink! If she says yes, and not talk about money, then you just give her 1000 bath next morning! If she does want to get into money, before coming with you, I never pay more then 1000, period! If the girl plays it hard, just find another, or if you really think she is the stunner you really want, propose her if she can stay a couple of days! Then the price will go down to 1000, because she hopes to get an income for several days and can have a few days of, being with you!

thank you for your up to date information, i was worried that many of the tg would have gone off to other resorts. or been scared to stay. i have spoken to some thai people (not P4P people, other friends ) and they say they do not want to go to phuket;,,,,,,,,,,, cos too many spirits there now. from a falangs pont of view i must admit concern/fear that you could be swimming or laying on the beach and a body might just wash up!!! ARGHHHHHHH once again many thanks for the help, i am hoping to visit phuket now as all seems well. best regards grimsby

just an observation. you chose to give tin tin a bit of grief here and i cannot see why. 1(your first paragraph rattles on about YOU did this, YOU think that, YOU dont see why YOU should do the other, YOU think they are lazy, YOU dont have trouble getting up to date information etc 2) your second paragraph then goes on to say YOU dont need silly little comments and YOU dont think people should comment on board postings. Thats fine Diz, you are entitled to think as you wish, you say you gave a polite reply which you did BUT!!! it was with hidden undertones. However no one forced you to reply to my question, i only asked for help, if you did not wish to do so.............................. First it never occured to me that you were the same author of the other post, that just scared me by reading the title, NOT for its content! 2 nd the "give the guy a break" was not put an agressive way, just c'mon let help this new bm out! If you allready have to get flamed because you want to help people.....  3. I sincerely hope YOU do not have serious problems to get winded up by so little! Whats the problem?
When i was a newbie, i read as much as i could before i posted to get a feeling for it and to see what was posted before.... Why do people think there is a search button? For fun or to fill up space? There is no silly questions, but after reading 200 posts asking about price for girls st/lt, it gets really boring to answer.... Use the search button!!!

I agree with that!

Absolutely I think the reply was polite just because he said look it up for yourself and you might learn something new,this is true when you search through old posts I'm always searching them and learning something new everyday.
