I never stay anywhere else in Bangkok now. It is a little beat up and low rent, but so am I. And nowhere else in the world do 22 year old, drop dead gorgeous, shop assistants send their friends over to tell me they like me
Nana Plaza next door, plenty of bars around the area and girls hanging round the car park with their sisters (honestly!) when I get home drunk. Nana Hotel rocks !
The massage place inside the hotel is worth avoiding though

I also like Nana Hotel, good value for the money compared to many other hotels in the same price range. The only problem is that is often fully booked, it is too popular.

The Nana is worth checking if you've never stayed there before it's very resonably priced and you also get breakfast, definately not for the faint hearted the lobby area after about 2am gets very busy with girls and Angels disco downstairs is always full late.
Not exactly upmarket but if you want action and entertainment you can't beat it.
Make sure you book even in low season.

Maybe I was unlucky, but the girl was clearly bored, busy on the phone, disappeared for a few minutes every now and then and charged me double what I have ever paid anywhere else in Thailand. Apart from that it was fine!
With all the massage places in the area, it is a buyers market and their product was not up to scratch.

Nana Hotel is on the opposite side of the road from Nana Plaza, So you have to get yourself through the traffic maze and then throug theh Nana Hotel car park, which in itself can be a challenge late at night.
Dynasty Inn on the other hand is on the same side of the road as Nana Plaza, just turn left and walk 20 metres.
The food at the Dynasty is better, but Nana has a swimming pool, which Dynasty doesnt.

I am a bit of a massage junkie to be honest, and I am a 'happy ending' bloke as well but I found this place to be distinctly average. Everything else about the place is cool

Nana Hotel
Stayed there loads of times! Although there are nicer bedrooms at a similar rate (1000 Baht) in other hotels fairly close by, the Nana is in the most fabulous location adjacent to the Plaza.
By and large i find the front desk staff are unhelpful and the procedure of using your allocated safe deposit box is some what long winded compared to a safe in the room.
The rooms themselves are adequate with king size bed's although a little old fashioned in terms of decor and facilities plus due to the extreme popularity of this establishment, very worn out especially the bed's.
The room price includes a daily copy of the Bangkok Post and breakfast which is a buffet and very very good.
The hotel has it's own Disco situated to the rear of the lobby and plenty of babes are available so having a room on the premises is highly desirable should you have an ''itch to scratch''
The Nana Hotel has a massive amount of American permanent residents so you need to book well in advance in order to guarantee a room, infact i understand Christmas/New Year is usually fully booked by October.
I would suggest the Nana has the best occupancy rate of any hotel in Bangkok...Oh the swimming pool and sun terrace are ''crap''.

Close to action but the place is worn down
I have stayed at the Nana a boat load of times. As for location it is excellent but as for the rooms they have, lets say, pretty much seen their better days. Actually the place is quite a dump and if you are not a hard core monger it might be a little too much. Price is pretty fair but the Dynasty and Majestic which are right next to it are better and about the same price. The Nana is probably the biggest monger hotel in the world. It pretty much sums up all the femi-nazi sterotypes about the old or dirty sex tourist that you could imagine. Quite a sight to see who comes through the lobby.....severly obese monger, bald and extremly ugly monger, handicapped monger, 90 year old monger who can barely walk, monger in wheel chair with extra air supply hooked up, uneducated monger, hillbilly monger, hard core crimial just let out of jail monger, factory worker monger, laywer monger .......you name it pretty much all the misfits of the western world can be found right there in at the Nana. What a sight!!!! But the best part of it all, no matter what the look, age or education - all the mongers are HANSUM!!!!!!
Praise the lord!!!
