Patong report ?

I will go to Patong in 1 weeks.
Is there a night life in may ?
Today, I try to see the maithai webcam but it seems turn off.
Someone say me, there were activities in the south of patong and in the soi moodies.Where ?
Can i have a little report on this?

hi helecoptere, there is a post on here somwhere which asks a similar question, apparently there are plenty of people there now ,and lots of ladys too ! so have a good time !!--- i notice the webcam is not working also ! if you go to the home page and scroll down to the bottom, you will see all of the departure dates of the board members

There is always nightlife in patong.... How more off-season, how less tourists, but there are more then enough also!

Go to Nicke, Mai Thai bar, at soi Eric and introduce yourself, but not before 21.30-22.00. Normally enough nice lads to give you advice!

No the Phuket closes for next month, sorry only joking. The MTB webcam is off the air at the moment due to technical reasons, will be back real soon. There is always a nightlife here in Patong, as contrary to what the government thinks, Phuket runs on the nightlife, well at least Patong does.

Im here in Patong at my usual time of year to visit and considering Patong has had its share of bad luck (sars, bird flu etc)....it is certainly doing better than ever for itself at the moment from what I can see. Sadly not as many bar girls as previous years..having just come from Bangkok this was very noticeable... ...Ive been told that many of them are scared off still becasue of the tsunami thing but I dont know how true that is. Closing time of bars is still 2am ish..but the discos seem to be given a bit more free reign apart from Thursday night when,,,for no obivous reason,,,everywhere seemed to shut up shop for the evening at 2am.

Depends on if anyone of importance is in town, remember that closing time legally is 1am.

Cant agree I reckon there are as many girls as ever, e.g. at my bar 2 nights ago I had 35 BG's and 4 LB's. As far as I can see in the other soi's there are plenty.

Closing time for most bangla sois is 3am and discos a bit later 3.30-3.45am

About 5-6 times per month its 2am closure as the boys in brown cant keep their promises as the big bosses are in town from Bangkok or some foreign freeloader on a tsunami expedition

Hey Geespot,

You must have one of the biggest bars in Patong to have that many bar girls working in it. Maybe I may have more luck in your bar. Which is it and Ill pop along for a a couple of beers? Around 75% of bars in Soi Easy and 25% in Soi Gonzo look like they have shut up shop. A walk along soi seadragon and even tiger last night and the girls looked a little thin on the ground (compared to the same priod last year and the year before). Maybe the better girls are being bar fined earlier or are all at your bar? One thing is certain though and that is that tourist numebrs are definitely much higher now and Phuket looks to be recovering nicely.

First off Im not a bullshitter, I get the feeling you might think I am. I have about 15 girls who work my bar an stay my bar house, the rest are semi permanent and come and go as they please. My bar is not a particuarly big bar, but size regardless the more girls & LB's who want to come there is fine by me

To give you an example, after 2am last night I had many girls from P1 bar and 5 girls from Christins massage. For whatever reason thai girls seem to enjoy coming to my bar. Im certainly not complaining!!!!

Soi Gonzo & Soi Easy, to be frank I reckon its only a matter of time before these soi's are closed and redeveloped into something else. As far as I can see most of the nighlife is moving north of soi Katoey. There are 15 new beer bars being developed in the new complex beside Tiger and from what ive heard Glalxy disco is moving in there too and of course we have the new soi sukomvit!!!

In the last few days Patong has been a bit quiter, soi Tiger included, hopefully its just blip and I hope that many Australian's (their winter) and northern europeans (their summer holidays) decide to choose Phuket as their destination

I hope Im not tempting faite but for this tiime of year we have had little rain and its dam hot

you might think Im mad but getting drunk for a living and staying with all these thai girls on a tropical island is very stressful indeed

Mate I diddnt even know they were from P1 bar, thats 2 nights in a row they have been there and the christins girls I know because I said hello to them and they told me where they work

Geir can verify the P1 bar girls, it was him who told me who they were

Other than this I also get a lot of girls from soi eric and soi katoey drinking in my bar too as well as my freelance crew who are now a bit of an institution at my bar

I hope things dont go pear shaped next week, i.e. scare all my little friends away as the GF/wife is returning for good
