I'm a little bit disappointed by the new soi gonzo. I really liked the old gonzo bar but now, the place is too small. I still wonder why they build the U2 bar annexe. It would have been better to keep the old gonzo as it was and enlarge the entrance of the street.
Once in the street, I think that the music is too loud. Sitting in a bar there will give you a headache... Once again, It would have been better to play the same music in all bars like in the other streets.

Hallo Bobby heb ondertussen kunnen zien dat je uit Brussel komt, zit je momenteel in Phuket ?
De nieuwe Gonzo is veel lawaai maar vooraan aan de bar op een stoeltje , heel goed om alles te bezien. De nieuwe U2 ernaast hebben we net niet zien open gaan. De U2 er rechtover kennen we heel goed en ook de Kangoroobar.En leeft de schinees nog een beetje ?

Halo! I think that the new U2 is better than the old one: new, comfortable, clean and there is a big screen inside which allows you to watch your favourite sport events. Gonzo bar is still good: more or less the the same as before: pool table, same good music but it's much smaller now. Staff is friendly and I really like some girls working there even if I never take them out.
Just one last remark: if you play pool at gonzo bar, be carefull for your head with the television. No problems for thai as they are not as tall as us. Just look at the sign "pas op voor uwe stomme kop!!!" on the TV and you will understand quickly what I mean.
