Patongs New Bright Spot -- G-Spot
G-Spot opening last night - Stevem gone back into go-go biz by opening new Go-Go next door to old Playschool (Soi Sea Dragon).
Had a real good opening night - great deco/aircon & music and fresh newbie go-go girls - (doubtless not for long!). Thanks Stevem for a great night, and expect G-Spot will be very hot - certainly our top choice to enjoy!
After went on to Dragon - pretty hot 'soapy show' - Sleezy check it out (2.30am) - you'll love it!! We enjoyed it too and pretty busy - tho looks like dancing is no longer much of an option (for the customers). Then onto Dragon (3.30am) - hummm unless your Thai would watch your step in here now - must have 85% Thai (mostly 'mao' guys) and 2 fights - not a good vibe but music good and 'hear' closes around 5am.

Thanks guys, when you rock up here in Patong come on by, and if I dont already know you, then make sure you speak up.
By the way, anyone heard of a liqueur called "Chambord". Its unheard of here on the island, but does anyone know of a substitute.

I've read Chambord is a french liqueur made from black raspberries. Offhand, I can not think of a similar tasting liquer.

Good move, SteveM!!
I am surprised that when you sold Playschool that the sales agreement did not have in it a "covenant not to compete." Here in America, when someone sells a business, this is almost always included in the agreement, usually for a period of at least 5 years, sometimes even 10 years. Igues things are different in LOS. Maybe now they wish they thought of it?
Good luck in your new enterprise!!

No, we called our bar beer in SeaDragon "GSpot" before I knew of Graham's "Geespot's" existence. Then when we brought the bar nextdoor to Playschool previously called "Heaven", we called that "GSpot 2", this was to just help with legal issues and just to make life easier.

Steve, congrats and thank you for opening a new go go bar (I agree that Patong could use more). Please let us know how business is coming along and when your website is up and running! A few picts of your dancers would be nice as well .

Good luck Stevem, I guess that will soon be an end to Playskool!
Are you in the bar now that used to have the live band playing? There was a very nice girl there whose name,I'm ashamed to say, escapes me!

Playschool is still running, we sold that back in February. No you are thinking of Coyote Bar, they are next door and still have the live band most nights.

Chambord is a french raspberry liquer.
Try Creme de Cassis it's as close as you can get here. And you usually mix it in Champagne or other things or over ice cream. You can get some french Creme de cassis that pretty good.
Cheers!
