hello guys
great site
I am going to patong in july and I hear diffrent stories
some say there are less good looking girls and the prises are up,
the girls dont wanne go longtime anymore and so on "after the tsunami "others say its still fun and sex as normal in bangla road.
are there som members who have bien resently there and what dit you
think is changed after the tsunami or are the prices and the girls the same?

My friends and I were in Patong 7 weeks ago and I can make the following observations but please note I am no expert as this was my first trip to Phuket without a girlfriend/wife in tow:

1) Patong was definitely quieter then I remember from my previous visit but the welcome was as big as ever, even more so as there were less tourists.

2) I saw plenty of good looking girls around, even late at night when normally the hot ones would get snapped up earlier in the evening.

3) Every girl that we 'met' had no problem with long time, all wanted to stay with us for the duration of our stay as it was quiet, I duly obliged cos I am nice like that!

4) The night clubs were quite busy, Tiger was packed every night and Tai Pan was doing well also. They stayed open till late and we were in the Crocodile disco one night until well past 6am which was good.

5) We never discussed the amount we would pay a girl before taking her, we just gave them THB1000 for LT in the morning and they were happy with that ( If you are travelling alone then maybe it is better to confirm the amount before you head back to the hotel to avoid any problems the next day). I was with the same girl for the duration of my stay and never paid a bar fine for the days she was with me and not at the bar, we just drank heavily at the bar one night and the boss lady was happy.

P.S. The guys that I was with had never been to Patong before but had no regrets about visiting, they actually thought it was better then their visit to Koh Samui the previous year as there was more choice and more bars/soi's to visit.

Good Day. I'll be making my first visit to Bangkok shortly for vacation. If possible, I prefer slightly older women. Just my taste. What's the possibility or how would I go about meeting women around 35ish?[COLO=Blue]Thanks For Your Help,

this is just my opinion and my experiences after the tsunami. i definitely saw a little bit of a change, believe it or not, with the girls attitudes towards there job and life in general. at least alot of the girls i know. there will always be plenty of girls to go around, but it seemed that these girls i know, young too, only 21-23, seemed to want to get out of the racket, settle down. it seems like they had that as their goal even before the tsunami but the tsunami seemed to make them want to get it right away

Thats also part of the cyclic nature of the hi / low seasons Marc.. Hi (and approaching hi) seasons town fills up with girls looking to make thier fortune, main priority is fast money.. Low season seems to have girls who have maybe been around in the scene a bit longer and are looking for some stability and seem to look for the settling down type vibe more..

The tsunami kind of created a surprise low season...

I had no problems with long time at all.I just got back from patong 2 weeks ago and had a great time.

Some real honeys out there and the girls i had long time never even gave me a price ( you pay what you like honey is what i got from most of them) but i payed them 1000-1500 depending how long they stayed with me the next day.

You might want to try on a Bangkok specific board to get an answer to your question, as this is mainly Phuket related.

In BKK, go to the Sukhumvit area, and just look around in all the bars, not the gogos. Although most of the girls are in their 20's, there are also ladies in their 30's and not hard to find one. One other thing. If a girl looks like she is 26 or 27, she may be older than that. The one I was with, I figured she was about 26 when I first saw her. And I went with one in Patong last winter who was 35, who really didn't look a day over 27 or 28. All the young guys were hitting on her. What a body! Nice face, too!

Is the scales question a joke because unless you personally know him I do not think its funny. You know its always a cheap shot to joke about someones appearance, I'm bald and have been since about 21 so I have heard every bald joke and gag that has ever been thought of and whilst it doesnt bother me so much what does is hearing the same old remark and listening to the person laughing their heads off as if it was original.

Perhaps it was me that got out the wrong side of the bed but this post pissed me off, I'm probably over reacting.

yeah buti saw a total change in the group of girls that i know, one of them was the contest winner. it just seemed that they actually took a look at the future and decided they better get going in setling down. they were not like that before the tsunami
