In November will Patong be as good as it's been before?

Coming over in November and although im not that bothered it would be really good if it was all busy. Some sites i've read say the place is like a morgue at the minute. I know tourist numbers will be down but it must still be lively and pretty busy? Hope November is good.

As I have mentioned in a previous post, it is very quite here at moment, but most bars are open and stocked with girls. It is really up to you to ensure you have a good time.

My crystal ball is out at the cleaners at the moment, so I'm sorry I cant check in advance for you. Only joking. Dont worry, you will have a good time.

I was supposed to be out there now with a mate of mine but personal problems rudely interrupted my plans!
I've been speaking to him on an almost daily basis and he says he's having a great time in Patong. He's been twice before pre-tsunami, and he says it's just as good. Atmosphere is great and it's definately NOT like a morgue. It maybe quieter but not too quiet. He's out there on his own and says there are loads of girls and enough tourists to make it a great time. I'm going as soon as I possibly can, and I can't wait!

The question is:

Do you need soooo many people around you, when the guys who are there are cool, and many pretty bg's there, who have more time for you..?

Tell you this mate:

Yes Patong is quieter, but it was sometimes too busy for me! In fact the only time I have been there during holliday season, 2 years ago, I hated it, too much is too much!

When I was in Kata in March, a place less frantic, not so far away after all from Patong, there were more people, then in November BEFORE the tsunami!

In November it is not high season yet, it is a wonderful time! Enough girls to make you happy, enough BM, like myself to have a nice chat with and enough occasions to let yourself go !

That it is a bit quiter, some months is ennoying for the locals, not for the tourists, there is always enough to do!

I agree Tintin, low season is much better. I've been in October and it was just perfect!

Well the media is to blame for a lot. Some of my contact said : we were not destructed by the tsunami, that did just bring bit damage, we are destructed by the press that loved being in phuket still being able to shoot a few devestation images.

But what do you expect? TAT organized presstrips and when a paper or magazin sends a journalist on that trip the assignment is: cover the damage done by the tsunami!. If the press contacts TAT and states that they want to do a positive piece on phuket then TAT does nothing at all.

So all we get to see in the press is bad news stories. Well I can tell you that even if TAT does nothing I will go myself with or without the team to change the tune! And of course TAT will get to take blame for the negative image in my pieces. I hate it when people stand in my way.

The media tells and shows us what they want us to see, not what we should be seeing or hearing.
