Bangkok to Pattaya?

How long does it take to get there via Taxi. And also, what's the taxi cost likely to be.

Thanks in advance.

i've got a number but not on me right now. i could get it next time i'm on line. when are you going? have you booked a hotel yet. if so see if they can book you one but your prob have to pay like 1500 bhat but thts ok not to expensive. another way to do it is just find someone on your flight who is going to pattaya then just jump in with them, so if you end up paying airport prices then it's not to bad

I go to Ecamani or however it's spelled. Just off the Sky Train. Was 90bt. Go in terminal from front, series of windows on right side. Think the one to the far right. Buses in back of terminal, Pattaya one on the right side. First or second slot depending on schedule. Easy.

Take the Taxi to Mo Chit terminal, 100 baht . Then the bus to Pattaya North 110 baht. Then the 20 baht bus to your hotel.

your only going for 9 days so i would get the taxi.i don't know how much the taxi from airport is but on the second road in pattaya you can order a taxi for the way back to airport for 800 baht.the bus is cheap but you will have to get a few buses and the bus to pattaya is a pain about 3 hour journey or more and its hot and stickey, just get an airconed taxi, sit back and relax.

Thanks for the advice.

I want to get a taxi instead of getting the bus. Last thing I want to do is sit on the bus for a few hours after a 12 hour plane journey.

If I get the cabbie to take the tolls, how long will it take from Bangkok to Pattaya then?

And also, what's the standard of the driving like, or shouldn't I ask!
