Its a case of knocking on doors. Theres a good one called "Dang guesthouse" on soi Langkee, nice bloke from Tassie runs it with his thai wife. Hi Rex .. i stayed at Anna Yet´s for 30 days in september this year .. 4000b + 700b for power and water .. nice place but not much sleep i can tell you that much , atleast not before 4-6 AM but i will probably go there again

my mate owns shearers bar on soi buakhao he has really good rooms up stars
only 400 baht a night but if your looking x-mas i wouldn't bother cus he is booked up.
