I would want to take more - I normally budget £100 per day, but that's for Phuket which is supposed to be dearer.

I'm a beer drinker, my alcohol far exceed my barfines. For me as a beer drinker 100 usd and up a night, anyone that don't drink as much would need less than 100usd a night, have fun and enjoy.

Im no cheap skate.......I drink truck loads of beer, and shag no less than one girl a day (girl must be 9 out of 10 or better) and I reckon it can be all done on 3000 baht a day with no wories at all, and that includes food.

If this is true XXXX (XXXX is a crap Australian beer by the way) it might explain some of your other posts on this board????

I once drank 18 vodkas.......(and they were big shots.........probably double our normal serve here)........in one night in Buffalo Bar in Pattaya and it cost me about US$50

Glad to say I kept the remaining US$50 in my pocket.................only because

pattaya is cheaper than phuket for ladies 500 for st and 1000 for lt, i never get quoted anymore than this in pattaya, in phuket some ladies ask for more than this. i would think that 100 euro a day would see you party like mad in pattaya including a hotel,but i was their in april low season,eastiny on soi 8 only charges 800 baht in april might be different now.maybe you might need more money for high season, but anyone who tells you u need to have a 100 dollars,pounds or euros every night he goes out in thailand is just an asshole who likes to boast.

Went to Phuket/Patong for the first time in March this year .. i have been in Thailand a couple of times before and i am what we can call a "Pattaya Lover"

My first evening i walked from C&N down to Rat-u Thit Rd (or how to spell it) and Bangla to see what Patong had to offer .. after browsing a few bars i deside to go back to a small bar on Rat-U-Thit Rd to a litte hottie i saw there when i first left C&N!

The hottie was still there but she only dragged me in and sat my ass down at a not so good looking girl (it´s not the first time 555) but i thought what the fukc , i needed a drink anyway !
The BG start´s telling me what a great girl she is .. she can cook and clean and she´s trying hard to look pretty :

After a few lady drinks she tells me that farang people come´s to Phuket/Patong for SEX ... .. i try to look stupid (not so hard) and i answer her that i dont´belive her!

Very good point louiswhitehouse,.....If your only on a quick hit out, then go crazy, and spend heaps, I try to stick to 3000 a day on average, because a short trip for me is never under 1 month.

i was out of control this last trip. i couldnt even tell you how much i spent, but had a ball.
and i remember one thing that really impressed me. i went out to baya beach and safari with a few bm's. i drink very fast and was buying round after round. when im having fun, could care less whos paying.
the next night devman walked up to me and tried to give me money, saying that i bought too many drinks last night. thought that was very classy of him. i refused, but i was impressed

I wish that 100 euros and pounds were the same as $100 USD. Don't forget that you can end up buying drinks and some meals for your BG, especialy if you want a GFE, so you have to add that to the cost per day.

Hotel prices double during high season.

I think its a cultural thing. When your drinking and in a shout, you cant pullout until you've had your round. Nothing like going to pub at lunchtime with 5 or 6 workmates for one, thats one round each.
