Hello

Does anybody knows of a good hotel, guesthous, bungalows to stay at. I'm comming to pattaya 26th december and maybe stay to 10 jan.
Is it possible to get a nice place for 500-1000bath and no extra charge for guest.
I have stayed once in a hotel close to soi 1. but i think it have been better to stay closer to walkingstreet. middel of 2nd road or something.

Been in the same situation as you. I'm coming over on 10th Jan, took me ages finding something, but a mate of mine said 'Lek hotel'

Checked it out and I got it for 850B. Close to everything as well, go a google search on it.

there are so many but if i was you then check in at the welcome plaza for a night or two and have a look around or maybe you want to stay there. it's 5 min walk from walking st oppisite pattaya land 1 on the second road. you don't have to book a hotel now for the whole trip.

I see. I thought maybe it would be difficult to find hotel in pattaya when it upon new year.
I never use to book hotel before i go to thailand. But was thinking maybe this is smart to do since it's high season.
My father is down there now, and he have tryed to book some hotels for me, but the answer he get is that they don't know if they have any rooms from 26 december. But they could teel him ,if they got one. 1 week before I come down

thats why you book one fist for a few nights cus if you are in the room they ain't going to kick you out. you can always get a room somwhere no matter what time of the year it is just got to look. when your there there are so many places that ain't on the net that you can stay.

You have many hotells near to Lek hotell (Lek is a good hotell).
You can try Tim a go go, just oposit of Lek hotell (2. road). They have good rooms/apt over the a go go.
The Sandy Spring inn, AA Hotell (new and old) are hotells in the soi going by Lek hotell. I Have stayed in all these places. And all are "guest friendly".....

Ive been staying at Diana inn when in pattaya for the last 15 years.
Good location, nice and clean, guest friendly and has a pool.
Rates from 750 per night.

Thanks for all requests.

I have now got a room at MP Mansion Residence. Allmost a new hotel open in 1. october this year. 700 bath pr.night and no extra charge for guest. Seems like a ok hotell to start with for some nights. Maybe a little to fare from all the bars, but a little walk is ok or taxi.
They also have pick up service at airport for 1.500 bath. Then I don't need to argue the man/girls in black dress on bkk airport, or the taxi driver hehe.
