costs

Convert to your own currency. Per day accomodation this time of the year at least 1000 baht, food 500,[I dont like Thai food and use the trip as an opportunity to diet] horizontal entertainment 2000 baht, shows are a few hundred baht to enter.

Most people budget on average for 5000 - 10,000 per day.

Some days you will spend more then other days, so it usually balances out.

3,500 per day is doable but that is quite a tight budget, you will certainly need to stick to beer bars rather than Agogo bars because the girls in the Agogo's charge more money for shortime and longtime deals.

But there are many ways to cut corners, like always eating alone and not taking a thai girl with you (gonna cost you more if you do)
Furthermore you can eat very cheaply in pattaya is you shop around and keep away from the ''top end'' restaruants.

Learn to say NO to girls begging for drinks in the bars, only buy a drink or 2 for the girl that interests you and not all her ''thirsty friends''

Look for bars with balloons attached to the top, probably someone's birthday at this bar and you might get some free food, but you might have to attach some money round the b'day girls neck

Many Agogo's have happy hour times where you can get draught beer for as little as 45 baht, go from 1 happy hour to another and you can save money. Also a good way to get you in the mood watching the girls dance before hitting the many beer bars of pattaya.

Beach rd freelancers, cheap but dangerous ..up 2 u

Make sure you get a hotel on a baht bus route as it saves a lot of money only paying 10 baht for the journey.

If you get a longtime gf, ask her to do your laundry

I could go on all day about cheap charlie methods but I'm starting to look like one My advice, make sure you have around 7000 baht a day and you will have a great time.

Enjoy your trip
