another trip planned

wow, the time flew by too fast with me being there and with my move to Phomn Penh in May I'm going back to Pattaya.

131 days and a wake up. But whose counting?



Lets recapture the funny moments of my trip. I got on one of those trucks (dont know the name) with two Thai chicks to go to my hotel. Two lady boys started looking at me with the most disgusted looks on their faces.

The hotel staff laughing at me for having two chicks.

Moto drivers who can't seem to know where anything is, like its their first day on the job. YOu pretty much have to give them the street address and directions.

One taxi driver I had to stop and get an address, then stop again to get the phone number (from an internet cafe) and the guy still couldn't figure it out.

But, then again, its much better than in Korea, these people at least try to figure out what you are saying. Unlik Korea.

I arrived in Korea, told a lady I wanted a ride to Gangneung. She said 7,000 won. I know it has to be at least 15,000. So I look at her strange. She changes the price to 13,000. She gives me a ticket to the wrong destination.

I tell her its wrong. She looks at me like I'm stupid. I write my destination in Korean, I draw a map of Korea and make arrows to where I want to go. I write my destination in English where I want to go.

She gives me my money back and says she doesn't know what I'm talking about. Several patrons come by and I tell them where I want to go. They tell her and she still acts like she doesn't know what we're talking about.

At least the Thai people will try to find the answer. Now the taxi driver decided to charge me more since it took so long to find the destination. If he knew where he was going it would have taken 5 minutes.


Being with a bargirl and everyone thinking she's my wife.

OK, she got into an accident and I took her to the hospital. She broke her leg and wrist.

Then her thai boyfriend stayed with her at the hospital, even though she denied he was her boyfriend. She asked me to spend the night with her after she left the hospital, but the thai boyfriend wouldn't leave. So I left.

Other than that, it was a great time, too bad I couldnt figure out a way to live there for a long time.
