I have a weeks vacation, they pick the week unfortunatly, Have to decide within the next few weeks whether to buy a ticket or wait until December.

Just need to know how much rain, so I can get more photos of Thailand.

Any ideas.

I HAVE BEEN IN LOS 4 times during july and i will be again this year i dont know about Patong because i have never been there at that time of year but in bangkok it rains nearly every day at around 3.30-4.30 pm torrential rain and in pattaya where i have spent around 33 days during july i have seen rain on only 2 days and again that was around 3.30-4.30 pm in afternoon. but dont expect bright sunshine its hot but mostly days are slightly cloud covered

It's nice in Phuket July, frequent rain showers just freshen things up.

hey there,
i am planning a trip to be in patong beach from june30 to july14. i noticed your response to a weather question. so you're saying it FREQUENTLY rains during this time?? im not use to rain at all and i dont enjoy it while im on vacation, i luv the sun and sand type deal, but i really want to hit up this place that ive never been to, and i get my vacation from my job only between those dates. what would you recommend? thanks

Don't worry, it really is not a problem. It might rain every day but only for a few minutes at a time and it dries up pretty quickly in the heat.

That is my time-frame for Phuket too, early July, it's a good time to be there.
