My plan to Pattaya

Hi friends,
I have been in Bangkok over 20 times and have shared my experence in MTB. I have explored BKK almost fully and nothing left for me to explore.
I am planing my visit Thailand in June 2006 and plan to explore Pattaya this time. I would really appeciate from any board member that has ventured Pattaya if it is a safe place and if night life activity is as good as Bangkok. Any suggession of good hotel. ( I normally stay at Amari in BKK ).
Which are the places for night life activity and what is the right time to go and what are the places that I must avoid.
Thanks for the help.
Roger

I would advise you to use the search engine and read abit about pattaya beacuse there is all of great information. Me personally like pattaya much better than bkk more compact many more bars and girls every ¨basically everywhere wanting a piece of you. Walking street is great several nice go go bars and soi 7-8 is great for late night drinking they basically never close. Safety no problem at all, stay away from thirld were all the locals karaoke bars are at night. Sometimes unpleasant things take place in this street shooting etc. For a first timer i would probably stay soi 7 or 8 you have easting place and flipper house, lodge all priceworthy and great location

will be myself in patt july/ august cant wait
cheers

Hey Roger

If you have 20 years of BKK experience under your belt, then I'm sure Pattaya will be as safe as BKK is for you. I must say that I feel safer in Pats then in BKK.

As for places to visit regarding nightlife, in Walking Street The Blues Factory for some good live music and maybe Bamboo Bar or Easy Rider. Disco's: Lucifer and Marine, or if you like a little bit of Thai disco show mixed into it maybe Hollywood or Xzyte. Now for beer bars and gogo's there are just so many of them that I think you're better of exploring on your own and schoose the bars you like for your own reasons. I liked the new gogo's in the convent garden, Catz and Boesche. Don't forget to explore one of my favorite sois, soi Yodsak (soi 6). Massageparlours can be found plenty on 2nd road towards the lower sois 1-3.

As your mostly Phuket afficionados here, I guess your spoilt for beaches, but Pattaya has some decent beaches nearby. You could take the 45 odd minute ferry for 20 baht or hire a speedboat to Koh Larn which has one very nice beach, and some other decent quiter ones . There's also a nice beach in Ban Nam Puh. Not 100% sure about the spelling, it's a little bit past Jomtien.

In terms of beer bars, gogo's and girls BKK doesn't even come close in my book. BKK does however have more to offer if your into the club scene, definately.

There is an Amari right up the other end (to walking St) but I wouldn't eally recommend it........a bit expensive for what it is and also charges joiner of abou BHT350 from memory

I don't think you'll be disapointed.........it is not called BKK by the sea for nuthin'

Hi Unziped,
Thanks. As for BKK I normally stay in Amari Bulaward which is in Soi 5 in Sukkimvit area. Although the rates are a big high in this hotel I really feel comfertable and safe in this hotel. If you book a double room then they dont question on the women you take to your room. But if you ever take more than one women then they charge you about B600.
Down Sukkimvit you also find lot other hotels in Soi 2,3,5,6, 7, 8, 11 and so on that can offer you a cheaper price. You can try City Lodge in I think soi 11 ( which is a part of Amari ) but a smaller one with less price. You can check it out in the internet. Or if you are only for full time sex you can stay at the Nana Hotel ( the rooms are not that good ) deffinetly not my choice.
As for night life Sukimvit area is full of women at all times. You have Nana Plaza that offers lot of activities then you have simillar place Soi Cow boy for night time action. Just keep a track on the beers that you have in both the places and check the bills that they drop in the cup in front of you every time you order it. Normally they dont cheat but you never know when drunk thinks can go wrong too. If you are looking for some women at economical price then head for Beer Garden in Soi 7 and you can see loads and loads of women starting to arrive at 11 am and untill mid night. They are all looking for men to fill their stomach. If you are lucky you can get some good ones. One advice when you pick up Freelancers either in Beer Garden or at road side near Nana or Soi 2, 3 make sure your wallet and all your belongings are really safe inside the safe box. They have no garuntee as you have picked them up at streets they can steal you for sure. Belive me they even rob the bathroom itesm such as shaving cream, and even your used tooth brush ( I had such experence ) .
Down soi 7 you have many bars. You can visit Down Under bar run by Rob a Aussee. The place is really safe and quite. Just opposite to this is the world famous " EDEN CLUB" which I am sure you know the activities inside this place. If you want to get satisifed with 2 or more women at one time then you can try this. They also have women that can do the three letter activitiy . Well personally i really dont like the place. But you can try. If you want a real good clean Spa or a massage ( without sex ) then thre is a massge parlour very next to Eden Club ( I really dont remember the name ) and it is really good you can have a good massage or a foot massage or a SPA it is economical and really clean.
You can also try Soapy massage. I would recomand you to visit J-One Massage parlour in Payathai. Just tell the cab guy you want to go to Payathai 1 hospital. Get down at the hospital and just walk few steps and you find J- One. If you go with the Taxi guy you will end up paying double. The girls are really good at their work. I have tried many soapy massage but this one is really good. Just make sure you explain what you want to the guy at the reception. He will help you choose a women.
As for food there are so many out lets in Sukimvit area you can have all kids of food around there. Hope my information is quite usefull to you.
Please pardon me as my english is not that good as you guys.
I will be in Pattaya in June 16...
Roger.

I allways stay in Pattaya Marriott. Guest friendly, nice garden with pool, and central location, not far away from Walking Street

Sandy spring in soi 13 is a very nice hotel with no joiner fee and it's close to all the action, price around 1300-1500. and you have tons of gogo bars in soi pattaya land betwen soi 13 and walking street.

Oh come on M....err..I mean Coyotee..

You can plug better than that surely ?

For all your chrome pole hugging needs, look no further than Coyotee's Agogo.

That's Coyotee Agogo, Marine Plaza (Soi Lucky Star, Walking Street)

The best Agogo in town, where the beers are cool and the women are hot, that's Coyotee Agogo, Marine Plaza (Soi Lucky Star, Walking Street)
