In addittion to my title my vist to Pattaya for the first time. It was really nice of you guys to give me some valuable information for a first time visitor. It was quite usefull and I will venture all what was given by you guys.
I just happen to find a hotel by name Diomand Beach Hotel which says it is in the center of the night life.
I want to know if any one of you have stayed in this hotel and if this is Guest friendly?? ....Roger

Yes, it is right in the middle of the night life...located at, obviously Soi Diamond, off Walking Street with carousel bars in the centre and gogos around the side. Superbaby, Superlady, The Sea, Supermodel, Windmill, etc are the gogo bars all around the hotel and the hotel also has a massage centre on the ground floor. Heard that the rooms are abit old and the hotel needs renovation but the hotel is guest friendly. Sir Gez had just recently stayed at this hotel in January and hopefully you can get a better feedback from him.

It is guest friendly and it did not cost me anything to take the BGs in. However make sure that this is included in the price before hand. I think I saw a couple of guys having to pay when they took their guests back.

The pool is indoors and is a waste of time. The roof garden is good for sunbathing but there are not many sun loungers there. The rooms need decorating and a general tidy up which I guess is why the Diamond Beach is cheaper than similar hotels on Soi 13.

Noise at night is no problem as long as you get the cheaper rooms at the back of the hotel.

Location is ace.
