All too often, Pattaya is mentioned by others as a place where foreigners come for sex ..

Fukc , you can buy sex anywhere in LOS not just Patts if they want to change this they have alot of "cleaning up" to do!

Itīs a lot of bollox .. itīs not more crazy then BKK and whatīs wrong with having a beer in an open beer bar ??

Quote:
It was mentioned that the local government are not happy with the image portrayed by open air beer bars and would like the bar owners to tell employees to cover-up and use polite language when conversing with Tourists

Cover up ??
Itīs hot 24 hours a day , your in Thailand for fukc sake!

Polite Language?
If the Tourists behave and use a more "polite language" probably the BGīs would do the same , not many understand there accent anyway 555

It'll be a rought go at it trying to change someplace as established as Patts.

Just so they don't change it in my life time, I'm fine with it

Seems to me that with the tourism in Pattaya the way it is why would they want to change it. It's not like they couldn't plan a posh resort somewhere else down the beach.

I do understand that, really.

What do you think would happen if the way it is now were to be changed to be more like what we have at home now? Would there be millions of tourists still going throughout the year? I don't think so, but you never know.
