Im heading to Cambo for a few days before Thailand, my travel agent, who speaks little English was confused and put Thailand at the last half of my trip.

So now I arrive at midnight in Thailand and have to wait 8 hours at BKK. Is there any short time hotels, or hotels nearby where I can get a little action while waiting for my flight at 8.30am?

how far is nana plaza from bkk airport?

At that time of night, the cab ride to Nana Plaza shouldn't take more than about 15-20 minutes. Cost, about 200 Baht?

fare should be about 200 baht yes...but journeytime id say closer to 30mins...even at that time.

And be sure to get a taxi chit at the taxi booth just outside the arrival hall. It will cost an extra 50b and you pay the tolls (40 + 20b to Nana IIRC) but the driver's name etc is recorded and they have to use the meter so its less likely you get ripped off.

I guess he doesnt count the bath, as while he is leaving the transit area, he has to pay 500 bath on return by leaving LOS!! Or am i wrong?
