Arrive the 30th.
My free housing fell thru.
My preferences are clean and safe hotels in the 15 to 25 USD range per night.
Thanks

Areca Lodge, Soi Diana Inn,stayed there many times very good hotel, friendly staff, two pools
http://www.sawadee.com/hotel/pattaya/areca/
Also Opey de Place and J&P Court about 200 metres past Areca. These are a bit cheaper than Areca

Your range would suggest Flipper Lodge at Soi 8...stayed quite a number of times...good clean room with a swimming pool and is located right in the midst of bar beer...abit noisy late at night so try to get the rooms at higher floor.

Hi Richie, I am thinking of staying at Areca Lodge in sept. I thought I read a post that said that the sun doesnt hit much of the pool area, is this true??

Hi Carraig
There are two pools, one is shaded for most of the day but the rear larger pool has sun all day

Sandy Spring, soi 13. Very clean, safe, great location. Join hotel membership for 300b get standard room for 1000b.
Great restaurants, Haven and the Sportsman on either side. Safe and secure.
Only drawback, no sofa in room.

I'm planing to take a side trip to Pattaya on my comming tour or maybe change it all together and just go to Pattaya so I was wondering if anybody has stayed at The Beverly Plaza? The rates seems Ok and the pics as well and most important, close to the action (walking street) Are all the hotels in that area girl friendly? Thanks in advace.

Thanks TL, it seems like a nice place and well not to close to Walking street but along the sois, I guess I can live with that On the other hand the Nautical inn sounds good to me since you have good expereinces about the place.

i havent been in the rooms but pretty sure they are all the same:
that being said, the pools at Sandy Spring or Apex can not even compare to the new pool at Areca Lodge
the pool at apex is basically on the street

Thanks.

Thanks for the link to their site, seems like a nice hotel and their deluxe room as well The rates are quite wallet friendly and of course I take for granted the place is girlfriendly too

bella villa
bella villa prima in soi 4.......good sized rooms .....kitchen area with fridge for the tinnies and microwave...bath and shower,it has a pool on the second floor so go for rooms 209-213 they open straight onto it.in room safe and not a bad breakfast if your up in time for it.no fee if you take the lady back for the evening either but you will pay 100baht for breakfast for her....close to bars and the big c shopping mall....across the road from the international hospital .
hope this helps

Hey...Guys, your search should stop here. A recently opened hotel which I have stayed twice and the place rocks.
Also, you shall save on Taxis because you won't need them!

I think the rate has been wrongly typed.
