There are 2 jasmine hotels and i always confuse the names, but i have stayed at the one off walking street which is the one i think you are after.

The room is a typical low budget room with small tv, ac, small shower etc. It does have a small pantry and fridge if you wish to cook your own food. I guess for the price its a decent hotel right in the middle of the action.
One of the receptionists is a real cutie which is a bonus.

I didn't find the nightlife to be disturbing at all but there were some construction work being done in the rooms above mine which pissed me off enough to go back to the areca lodge.

Good report BG that just about sums the place up.
I have stayed there for a week and quite enjoyed it. Fab location and ideal for a short stay but a bit too close for the action now that I'm here long time.

I have also stayed at jasmine (of walkingstreet). It is a good clean hotell, and not expensive. I dident hear much of the noise from walkingstreet.
The hotel is run by scandinavians (at least it was that in january).

I had 4 days in Jasmine (walkingstreet) end of February.
Good value for me.
Nice rooms.
Free wireless Internet included.

Good room for the price, but if yuo have a room whit balcony you can expect some ratfriends in your room, because there is a big gap at the bottom of the balconydoor(and i stayed at the 4 floor)
But the location is great if you are a walkingstreetlover.
